Super Science Institute member Ken Kurenai pilots the giant robot Red Baron, entrusted to him by its inventor, his older brother, to avenge his murder at the hands of the Iron Mask Party, led by the evil President Deviler.
Anti-hero Gentaro and his sidekick Goro (who has the ability to transform into the Iron King) must do battle against against various threats including a vengeful ancient clan, phantom terrorists, and invading extraterrestrials.
