* What happens when memories disappear? That is the question director Ragnhild Nøst Bergem wanted to know, as she has followed three people under the age of 65 who suffer from dementia. The film shows their everyday lives, good and bad.

With a norwegian royal wedding as the backdrop the film follows three parallel stories. We meet the lonely cleaner in the gigantic Nidaros Cathedral, a romantic undertaker with secret plans for his girlfriend, princess worshipping 11 year olds with a fairytale fancy and an angel of mercy from Russia. We follow the main characters for four months of expectations, elations and disappointments. In a throng of aristocrats, celebrities and security personnel the excitement reaches its climax and important questions for the main characters future are decided.

Pål is trapped in his own body and is dependent on help around the clock, but despite that he has chosen to prolong his life with a respirator. Although the disease causes Paul to have heavy thoughts, he calls himself an eternal optimist. The film follows Pål in everyday life as a friend, son, husband and father.
