- The movie " Veronica ", a masterpiece of Romanian cinema in 1973 with actors like Dem Radulescu, Lulu Mihaescu and Margareta Paslaru is today a charming film for children. In a magical world made with dream scenery, always put husbands and exuberant energy, Veronica, a girl who grows up in a home for children, receives a birthday present from her fairy godmother, played by Margareta Paslaru a magic bag that will fulfill any desire. Veronica refuses to share this gift with other children and for this is punished by Zana. From this moment the dream adventures of Veronica become very exciting. New characters appear as Puss Danila, played by Dem Radulescu, goody fox (Vasilica Tastaman), cricket, played by Florian Pitis and mouse in which we can see the role of George Michael. Elisabeta Bostan, iconic film director and writer of Romanian children waited for two years for permission to start the movie, filming in 1972 by launching a villa situated in the Prahova Valley, in ruins but gave Giulio Tincu life, high designer of his time.
- Occident is a bittersweet comedy that focuses on the growing tendency of Eastern European youth to migrate west. When the amicable Luci (Alexandru Papadopol) and his beautiful lover Sorina (Anca Androne) are evicted from their apartment, Sorina decides they must visit her father's grave and ask for a "sign". Seconds later, Luci is hit in the head by a bottle and taken to the hospital by a Frenchman. Despite her love for Luci, Sorina believes a life with security takes precedence over romance, and moves in with the good samaritan. Meanwhile, a jilted bride (Tania Popa) and her mother (Coca Bloos) enlist the help of of a private agency to find a proper husband for her, but the wealthy Italian man they select has more than a couple of undesirable traits. Later, Michaela's (Popa) father, a police captain, finds out that Luci's cousin is dead, prompting him to remember when the two boys fled from Romania by swimming across the Danube on an inflatable doll. The cousin had made it across, but Luci had been arrested and thrown into prison.
- In 1911-12, the Romanian movie director Grigore Brezianu and the financial tycoon Leon Popescu made together the 2 hours long movie "Romania's Independence" - an as faithful as possible screen adaptation of the real Independence War that had been fought in 1877. Now, "Restul e tacere" tells us, in a loose and half-fictionalized way, the story of this movie making.

- It is late in the Ceausescu era in Romania, and Cristina is having a difficult time with her boyfriend. He wants her to have sex with him before he goes off to do his obligatory stint in the army. She wants him to marry her first. She also gets involved with a slightly rebellious actor, a would-be ladies' man. He has some vague plans to defect - could those be the reason he is receiving mysterious phone calls? Or are they the work of his anonymous admirer?
