"La Nuit de la Destinée", in reference to "Laylat al-Qadr" (translated as the Night of Power or determination), corresponding to the 27th day of Ramadan and which, according to the Koran, is worth more than a thousand month.
Follows the night of Ramadan by covering the depth of the Muslim religion, its contributions and its certainties, through guided tours (in the form of historical-touristic documentaries), in holy places in Morocco, Tunisia, Spain and Mali.
Instead of the usual picture of the war in Lebanon, the film shows what lies behind the scene. Behind the walls of a Beirut building is the daily life of women from different social and religious backgrounds, offering snippets of life.
