Tom instantly appoints himself Buster's manager an arranges for a prizefight to show off Buster's fighting abilities. The movie producer signs Buster's opponent.

Ernest Truex is a nervous bridegroom who thinks his plans for a Havana honeymoon will be spoiled when he learns a process server is looking for him. Knowing only that the server is bald-headed he heads for the bride's home where the marriage ceremony will be held. He has two friends on guard with instructions to stop a bald-headed man. As a result, the bride's father, a judge who was to perform the ceremony and several other innocents are locked into a closet by Ernest's strong-arm friends.

Charles Kemper, a contest-entering nut, is engaged to be married, but his prospective father-in-law, a dour Scotsman, won't allow the wedding until he hears Kemper has won a contest. But it is called off when the company holding the contest tricks Kemper into signing a quit-claim waiver. He enters and wins another contest and the wedding takes place, but the bill-paying father-in-law is dismayed when he finds out the prize was only a tooth brush.

Crooner Jimmy Carter finds himself stalked by aviatrix-chanteuse Sylvia Markwell. Against their wishes, Carter's manager Sammy fabricates a romance between the singers for publicity. Sylvia flies back to America unaware that Jimmy has done the same thing.
