A peaceful summer day in the Moomin Valley is interrupted by a volcanic eruption.

During a hike in the mountains, a group of scout girls treat themselves to lunch. Someone, however, takes one of their hard-boiled eggs. It turns out that the culprit is the devil Pipe, who eventually successes in scaring away not only the girls and their teacher, but also several tourists. The hairy Pipe also steals a birthday cake baked by a father for his ten-year-old son called Bi, who moves on a wheelchair. Everyone thinks that this is a weasel's doing. But on the morning TV news, they announce that there have been sightings of a mysterious creature.

Subsequent characters appear in a poorly-decorated room, intertwining but never colliding, all possessed by never-ending rituals.

"Waiting for Godot" on ice and snow, without words. Against a barren winter landscape, a figure approaches: it's a man, pulling a small sleigh on which another man sits, plucking a dead bird. They stop to trade places; the one now on the sleigh takes out his knitting. Accidents, misunderstandings, disagreements, and an outright fight await our absurd protagonists as their trip to nowhere continues, first with one pulling, then the other. What if they were to lose the sleigh? What rules of civilization and partnership would guide them then?

A semi-documentary impression of the historic interiors of the Rem Synagogue in Krakow and the surrounding cemetery. Shots of empty rooms and archival photos superimposed on them evoke the memory of the tragic fate of the Jewish nation, which before World War II constituted a significant part of Polish society. In places such as Krakow's Kazimierz, traces of Jewish presence and their fascinating culture survived even the turmoil of war.

Mad scientist Professor Fogg invites an unsuspecting friend into his futuristic mansion. He begins to tell him about plans to control Earth with the help of invaders from another planet.

A little elephant is trying to learn to play his trunk. Despite sincere intentions and great commitment, progress is very poor. Disgusted siblings no longer want to tolerate their incompetent brother and send him to a deserted island as punishment.
