Four people living together in an apartment can give rise to a lot of funny situations.

Jan-Olov's daughter suddenly appears. She is a trained lawyer and wants to meet her biological father before she moves abroad.

Jan-Olof has gone crazy with photography and has found his favorite subject, Anton. Cilla is jealous, she wants Jan-Olof to photograph her. And Anton also has problems with his girlfriend Hanna.

Jan-Olov has managed to lose a lot of weight and gets praise, but it gets out of hand. And Cilla has started stealing from a storeroom at work and Lillemor does the same, soon the storeroom is almost empty and something must be done

To Anton's horror, his mother makes it up with Jan-Olof. And Lillemor has taken a test that proves she is very intelligent and Cilla doesn't want to be inferior and decides to take the test too.

Anton gets the chance to help the prettiest girl in the class with math, the only problem is that he himself is lousy at math.

Fredrik is upset that Cilla has to work overtime. And Anton decides to bet on the school by teasing the teachers, but goes a little too far in his smearing.

Fredrik gets angry at the neighbors' loud sex games and tries to take revenge by doing the same to Cilla. And Lillemor has written a cookbook that Cilla thinks is crap, but she doesn't dare stand up for her opinion

Fredrik spends money he doesn't have, and therefore has to enlist the help of his fellow residents. And Jan-Olof hangs out with his hairdresser under false pretenses.

Jan-Olof decides to earn money in an odd way.

Cilla accidentally mixes up her birth control pills with the calcium tablets and Anton wants a very special present from his girlfriend.

Fredrik is called to a jobseeker's course. At home, they have started to discuss the number of previous partners, a discussion that Fredrik prefers to avoid.

Cilla has left Bödvar and moved back home to Fredrik

Fredrik has decided to move on and invites Cilla and her Norwegian fiance Bödvar home.

Cilla wants to move abroad and work to earn some extra money. Jan-Olov worries about his thinning hair.

Anton has met a girl during the Cyprus holiday.

Fredrik has a hard time digesting that Cilla is going to marry the Norwegian chief surgeon Bödvar. But after therapy and memoir writing, maybe Fredrik can move on.

After a weekend visit to Cilla's parents, she has had enough of Fredrik's pettiness and moves in with Irene. And Jan-Olof and Anton do everything to get the host couple back together.

Fredrik gets an IT entry and opens an office at home. The others in the apartment do not show the work routines the respect Fredrik had wanted. At the same time, Cilla goes on strike and Jan-Olof throws a tantrum at Anton's mother.

Fredrik tries to keep a little too many balls in the air. Anton has finally figured out how to achieve fame.

Fredrik chokes and is saved from suffocation by Anton. This causes Fredrik to completely change his outlook on life, which means big problems for everyone.

To process the grief after Cilla, who left him and went to Norway, Fredrik decides to write his memoirs. And Anton is looking for a job as a children's program director.
