The ABC television network developed and premiered a new game show hosted by Charles Nelson Reilly during the autumn of 1988. Obviously, the show was shortlived since it dealt with choosing which one of three couples were really married or not.

Hosted by veteran television personality Dick Cavett, this quiz show pitted teams of college students against each other in a grueling battle of trivia knowledge. The teams answered questions on a variety of subjects to earn points, with the team earning the most points by the end of the show winning prizes for themselves and prestige for their schools.

The qualifying rounds begin with Ohio State vs. Notre Dame and Texas vs. Oklahoma.
