Saigon, Vietnam in 1972 - Phil, a handsome Vietnamese tailor measures a beautiful Vietnamese woman - Ai Van - in his high-end tailor shop. Suddenly, an American customer enters the store - Scott Larson. There is an instant connection between Phil and Scott. As Phil measures Ai Van, Ai Van asks if Scott was Phil's type.
