One summer in the late '80s, an Algerian family takes to the road to reach Marseille from the Paris suburbs. On the horizon, a ferry, the port of Algiers, a vacation "back home" in a mixture of joy and excitement, freedom and nostalgia.

The Cinema Action Brigades were born out of the uprising of the yellow vests, they bring together filmmakers determined to find fair and revolted forms. We see this work as an endless film about ongoing and future struggles. Each film is a stage, an appointment, a mean to find oneself, to gather around a political situation and its experimental setting. This film is made up of some twenty cine-tracts produced by anonymous amateur and professional filmmakers who do not always know each other.

Shot in 2018 in Algiers during a session of participatory workshops, the film features the women who took part in these workshops, used as a pretext to give a voice to these unheard women. It offers a social, urban and historical look at the city of Algiers, narrated from the perspective of these local women gathered in a historic house in the Kasbah of Algiers.
