When brilliant neuroscientist Dr. Alexine Prometh is interviewed on a prestigious talk show, the host blindsides her by revealing not only her top secret project to read human memories, but that some of her test subjects have mysteriously disappeared. Now, if Dr. Prometh wants to finish her life's work, she's going to have to find the leaker and restore her reputation. But renegade miner Nico Dunn is hell-bent on using Dr. Prometh's research to retrieve a memory for himself, and he has his own plans for the illustrious doctor. Set in the distant future, Earth Eclipsed follows an idealistic scientist trying to save humankind clash with a jaded miner intent on finding the truth about his past. The series explores what happens when two people have opposite ideas of what the truth is, and the great lengths they'll go to defend their own version of 'truth.'
