It was the summer of 77. It was Christmas time and trucker Desi "Donga" Donagan had worked his butt off all year so he could take his family on the holiday of a lifetime. Two weeks of lazing by the pool drinking endless cold beers at a luxury resort in the picturesque seaside town of Venus Bay. But in a drunken moment at the company Christmas party, Desi flushes his Christmas bonus down the toilet. Desperate to appease his now very hostile wife and disappointed kids, Desi is forced to borrow a caravan from his brother's very dodgy car yard. A caravan that is hiding a rather sordid past. So begins 14 days in 25 feet of hell at the not so salubrious Possum Point Caravan Park, nestled snugly by the outfall pipe of the Venus Bay Sewerage Farm. Over the next two weeks the Donagan's lives go from one catastrophe to another as Desi discovers his wife is having an annual affair and that his 10-year-old son might not be his own. He rescues his family from the vicious gangsters who are hunting for the caravan and the money that is hidden in the walls. Will this Christmas holiday be one of a lifetime or will it be a total disaster. One thing is for sure it will be one the Donagans will never forget.
