After a year of going off the radar, Number One returns to claim what he has lost after being implanted with a software and given a serum that enhanced his human ability but yet caused him to lose his memory until now. Project Equilibrium was said to better soldiers so that they may serve their country. Number One realized otherwise and is back to retrieve his LEGACY.

A messenger is summoned but obstacles are in his path.

Team Legacy brings a twisted fantasy of how the team was brought together: An Influential Master travels from his old life to seek new disciples to serve as his "Light Chi Warriors". In order to do this he has them fight each other in mortal combat.
