We tell most people this film was made in 48 hours with our phones, but the truth is it took 9 1/2 years to write this film. In that time I learned about the fears of being a mother and the weight of the responsibility that every mother feels in their own way. I learned what it meant to be the parent of a child with Down Syndrome through self and society and the differences of each of those paths. I learned to be an advocate and fight for both my children, that no outside boundaries be placed upon them based on prejudice of stereotype. Ultimately, I learned to let go of my fear and embrace all the goodness strength and blessings in every moment of what I call my life. I was given the platform and in that particular 48 hours I reached into my soul to share my journey that it may help another.

Everyone always told Sophia that she could do or be anything but they never said that about her brother Liam. In 'The Secret of Liam', Sophia takes us on a quest that unveils her brother's infinite potential when most see only his limitations.

Sara allows her dog to invade peoples personal space and Lori decides to turn the table.

We meet Bob in the park and he quickly puts his foot in his mouth when trying to remember what to "call" a child with Down Syndrome.

Stephen is on the computer late at night and should be more discreet.
