Jim West, a former Navy Seal, has left the service and returned to his childhood hometown of Oxnard, California to work as a private detective and security expert. A missing person case leads him to an underground knife fighting-stick fighting tournament to the death run by the mysterious Dragon Lady, where the losers are harvested for their organs and the remains sold in her restaurant. During his time home, West runs into his ex-fiancé, who he left at the alter to go into the military fourteen years ago and she may have a mystery of her own.
