This was the most excited I've been about a movie in a very long time. Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB reviews were looking great. Maybe my expectations were too high but I really thought this movie was not that good. Extremely disappointed. The plot of the movie was kind of lame. It really wasn't that scary or suspenseful. It just didn't deliver like most moves rated high 7's or low 8's. Not sure why it's still rated high 7's.

If you're trying to fall asleep this is a good movie to watch. Me and my wife hated it. Super boring. I wanted to leave halfway through but kept hoping somehow the movie would become interesting, which it never did. The star of the show was the cat cuz it was cute and somehow knew not to ever meow. While stupid humans all around were making noise the cute wittle kitty meow meow knew how to survive against these blind alien creatures. Sigh. Don't know what happened to the movie industry. I used to go to the theater all the time but ever since covid I've noticed that movies have gone downhill and are just boring. I miss how movies used to be.

There's a few things that I didn't like about season 1. Although rare at times, the things I disliked were the cheesiness, unnecessary theatrics and feeling like a specific incident was scripted.

Now, for season 2, all of those things previously listed are in every episode and are extremely over the top. To make it worse, the all celebrity cast was the worst idea. 90% of these celebrities I've never heard of and feels like they're all fake and craving attention. With a 250k cash prize, I doubt any of those celebrities truly care about that small of a prize. What made season 1 fun was that there were real people that needed the money for a better life and you could tell their heart was really in the game. I couldn't finish season 2 because of how bad it is. I'm hearing great things about the UK version so I'll be watching that now.
