    Coolie a Review

Coolie movie staring Rajnikanth, Nagarjuna, Soubin shahir, Satyaraj, Upendra, Aamir khan, Shruti Hassan, Rachitha Ram is a movie with good screen play with lots of unexpected twists right from the start of movie as it's seen to be a revenge story initially but lokesh kanagaraj handles the play with twists and unanswered suspence upto the intermission block, while the second half slowly reveals the answers in non linear way which leads to the unexpected twists on how coolies are used for, Soubin shahir performed well right from the start of movie till the climax, main antagonist nagarjuna has done well in the movie, all the other characters have justified thier roles, High lights of the movie tricky screen play by director, camera work is good at many scenes mainly stunts sequences, editing is good, anirudh bgm and songs like monica belluci, Aragam adiram is good, art works in movie is average, Unexpected move by rachitha ram was good, Aamir khan entry , upendra action turn over was a good feast on screen, the mapping of rajnikanth coolie number to one the character in movie was an emotional scene, the words power house was also in similar pattern but utilized at good place at last few minutes.

This movie is worth watch movie for true friendship.

    Superr

Good and full enjoyment.is a mass entertainer powered by Rajinikanth's vintage swagger, Anirudh's thumping score, and a star-studded cast including Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, and Aamir Khan. While fans praise its style, action, and music, critics note uneven pacing and a weak second half. A treat for Rajini fans, though narrative depth takes a back seat.

    Power House

Watched Coolie today, and as a long-time Rajinikanth fan, I can say one thing right away this is a treat for anyone who loves his signature style and screen presence. From the very first scene, you know you're in for that trademark Rajni charisma the walk, the punchlines, the larger-than-life action. The man still knows how to hold the screen like no one else.

The film packs plenty of those "whistle" moments. The theatre crowd was electric cheering, clapping, and even shouting punch dialogues along with him. Honestly, the energy inside was so infectious that even during a few predictable stretches, you never felt bored. This is one of those movies where the audience becomes part of the entertainment.

Action sequences are vintage Rajni exaggerated in the best way possible. He throws in his usual mix of swag, charm, and sharp timing, making sure fans get exactly what they came for. The cinematography and background score definitely add to the larger-than-life feel. You get the sense that more depth in the writing could have turned this into a truly memorable outing rather than just a fun ride. Still, the pacing is fast enough that you rarely have time to dwell on these shortcomings.

In short, Coolie is pure Rajni-style mass entertainment - a festival in the theatre. If you're a fan, this is a must-watch just for the joy of experiencing him on the big screen again. If you're not... well, the crowd might just convert you.

    Clumsy

Honestly, the story feels pretty outdated - some bits work, some don't, but nothing really fresh. The pacing is flat, the narration drags on forever, and the writing just doesn't have that spark.

Rajinikanth is fine, but nowhere near his peak form. Nagarjuna? Totally wasted potential. The rest of the cast... well, let's just say they didn't leave much of an impression.

Music hits okay in a few scenes, but overall nothing that sticks in your head. Cinematography is meh - not bad, not wow. Sets are passable, but nothing grand. Lokesh's direction is probably the biggest letdown... feels like he just wasn't in the zone for this one.

End of the day? Save your time - not worth the watch unless you're a diehard fan who just has to see everything.

Coolie (2025): The Cinematic Tsunami That Forgot to Bring a Plot

Coolie (2025): The Cinematic Tsunami That Forgot to Bring a Plot

If *Coolie* is meant to be a tribute to Rajinikanth's legacy, it's a painfully loud and confused one. Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his sharp storytelling in *Kaithi* and *Vikram*, seems to have lost the plot-literally. The film opens with promise but quickly spirals into a bloated mess of half-baked ideas, over-the-top action, and a storyline that feels like it was stitched together during a coffee break.

**Performances? More like performances lost in translation.

    • Rajinikanth's charisma is undeniable, but even he can't salvage a script that gives him punchlines instead of purpose.

    • Nagarjuna's villainous turn is cartoonish at best
    • Shruti Haasan is reduced to a plot device with barely any emotional arc. Yeah sure, she tries her best to be 'emotional', weeping copiously in every other scene
    • and Aamir Khan's cameo? Blink and you'll miss it-and honestly, you won't regret it.

    • Shoubin Shahir? Oh my god, that dance... I cant unsee it now

**Direction & Writing: Lokesh's signature style is buried under layers of fan service. The pacing is erratic, the emotional beats are forced, and the screenplay feels like it's trying to juggle five genres at once. The film's central concept-a cremation chair used for body disposal-sounds intriguing but is handled with such absurdity that it borders on parody.

A free piece of advice for Lokesh: You have run out of ideas and steam.... Take a Sabbatical dude, maybe meditation will help? Anyway, don't make movies for the next couple of years, at least.

**Music & BGM: Anirudh's score tries hard to inject energy, but it's like putting a turbo engine on a sinking ship. The songs are forgettable, and the background music is loud enough to drown out any nuance.

**Final Verdict: *Coolie* is a cinematic cocktail of missed opportunities. It's a film that tries to be everything-mass, class, thriller, emotional drama-and ends up being nothing. For die-hard Rajini fans, it might be tolerable. For everyone else, it's a 168-minute endurance test.
