I had to use a title like this because I watched the film after hearing many people say, 'a film like CID Moosa.' In a film that is claimed to be a comedy, I only burst out laughing in a total of five instances.
The theater was almost houseful. However, no one apart from me laughed or clapped in that theater. The truth is, when I was the only one who clapped for some joke, the person who came with me even told me to stop. Yet, because I have a habit of clapping when I find something good, I laughed and clapped for the subsequent (awaited and received) 2-3 moments that I felt were jokes. I am a person who wholeheartedly laughs out loud and claps for my own joy, even for average jokes; and yet, this film didn't make me feel like laughing much.
The film had a reasonably good plot. However, the totally jumbled and confusing screenplay felt like it dragged the entire film down. Many of the jokes that appeared in the first half felt forcibly inserted and inappropriate for the situation. The dialogue delivery and the slowness in the presentation seemed to be the reasons why some of the jokes didn't work for me.
The film heavily struggled to make the climax resemble those in 90s movies, but the overly prolonged climax felt personally very bad to me; perhaps this feeling arose because I have watched many such good climaxes that can make one laugh a lot, even without logic. It felt like the screenplay was developed without much effort or serious research. After finishing the movie, I felt the writing was even worse than some small short films by beginners.
The cinematography, one could say, was the best among the lot. The color grading seemed suitable for this film.
If the editing had been given a little more attention, the rhythm of the film itself would have been different, and some of the comedies might have worked better. Honestly, the trailer cut was beautiful. That was the main factor that motivated me to go into the film. Some of the songs were unbearable, and the background music also felt average.
Sharaf U Dheen is a good actor; his movie Madhura Manohara Moham, for example, was a film I watched in the theater and laughed a lot at. I also really liked his 'mass' performance in Padakkalam. But when it comes to this film, the truth is that many of the comedies didn't feel like comedy, and many of the mass scenes didn't feel like mass scenes.
Anupama Parameswaran's comedic performances also felt below average. I did not like Vinay Forrt's performance at all; it felt very over-the-top, and the jokes did not evoke any laughter. A psycho villain was shown, but ultimately, that plot line was not given a good conclusion. There is a development in the character of an auto-driver; initially, it felt interesting, but by the climax, it felt like that too was ended somehow, without showing a proper reason.
In short, it seems that the only reason this movie currently gets this much support is because of the affection for Sharaf U Dheen and the hype created by social media: there is a high possibility that opinions will change a lot when it arrives on OTT.

A fun adventurous ride cooked on a comical and colourful template with eventful instances.
The story takes us through the life of a Pet Detective who cross paths with criminal syndicates over his quest for winning his lady love and the extraordinary events in the backdrop forms the crux of the story.
Praneesh & Jai Vishnu has cooked a flavourful cinematic meal with slapstick elements, cat & mouse play to keep the viewers entertained on screen. They have brought out a mediocre story but the presentation was really impressive like visualising a colourful detective novel in mind. The first half pulls out many characters to the story which joins it's dot together in the final half. The climax sequences were absolutely a fun laughter ride.
Impressive performance by SharafUdheen handling action & humour so effortlessly. Anupama has given a decent performance but their combo and dialogues felt bit cringy in few sequences. Good performances by Joemon, Vijayaraghavan,Renji Panicker, Praseetha, Nishanth Sagar, Vinayakan & Shobi Thilakan who just synced with the vibe of the story.
Good sense of music by Rajesh Murugesan matching the mood and template designed for the movie precisely captured by Anend and perfectly trimmed by Abhinav keeping the pace of the story intact. Great contributions from Production Designer Dino Shankar, Sound design by Vishnu Govind, Costumes by Gayathri Kishore and colour grading by Srik Varier.
A perfect fun to watch entertainer to be experienced on theatres with tiny tots.

For all those logic and realistic movie lovers maybe stay away from this.
But honestly this is something you want to watch after a long week. Just a light hearted movie with some good comedy. Its a pure entertainer. The cinematography and music were amazing. It blended well with the story and also the performances were very good too. Being a comedy film, the fight sequences were also very well done and impressive. Its a laugh fest from start to end. After lokah this is another movie which keeps a hollywood style. Let malayalam cinema keep growing and expanding their horizons and keep supporting them to reach even higher.

Poor camera quality. Boring script. Totally time waste. I am amazed to see the higherratings. The comedy is not working. If the movie shooted with Samsung or I phone, it would be more clarity. Director eligible for 3 ratings. Vijaya Raghavan is the only intresting thing in this movie. But he has no roles.
Promising premise, a good cast, and an interesting plot. However, the film is let down by lazy writing-people come and go too conveniently just to connect one situation to another. With a little more effort, the narrative could have been far more logical; honestly, it feels like the writers didn't even try. The humor is also hit-or-miss in most places. The performances are okay-the actors did their part well-but issues with the writing and direction cannot be compensated for by acting alone. The direction and editing fall short as well, with several scene transitions feeling forced and artificial, as if events are happening merely to push the story forward rather than unfolding in a natural, sequential manner.
