This is the kind of film that keeps you thinking even after it ends, especially about Mukti
and Shankar's choices. The performances feel so real that you forget you are watching a
film. A beautifully intense experience from start to finish.
The emotions in this film are powerful and unfiltered, nothing feels superficial. Dhanush is exceptional and Kriti Sanon brings so much softness and pain. One of the strongest love stories Bollywood has told in years.

Just saw "Tere Ishk Mein," and I can't help but share my thoughts on this captivating film that delves deep into the intricate realm of human relationships. The movie artfully transcends the typical narrative of filmy infatuation and presents love as a profound and multi-layered human bonding experience. Dhanush and Kriti Sanon deliver exceptionally powerful performances that anchor the emotional core of the film, immersing viewers in their world of complex emotions.
The first half of the movie is particularly gripping. It sets the stage wonderfully, allowing the story to unfold in a pacing that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The character development is thoughtfully crafted, and you find yourself invested in their journeys. Dhanush portrays his character with a nuanced depth, showcasing a range of emotions that pull at your heartstrings. Kriti Sanon, too, shines with a performance that feels authentic and relatable, making their on-screen chemistry palpable.
However, as the film progresses into the last 30 minutes, it veers into the realm of typical Bollywood drama, hitting all the familiar beats that may leave some viewers wanting more originality. While the built-up tension is worthy of a grand climax, the resolution does feel somewhat predictable-relying heavily on dramatic tropes that can take away from the earlier intrigue established in the film. A tighter narrative throughout might have propelled the movie to an even higher level of impact, avoiding some of the clichés that often characterize the concluding acts of Bollywood films.
The screenplay, especially in the final act, could benefit from a bit more simplicity and clarity. This love story is undoubtedly complex and showcases layers that contribute to the overall engagement. Yet, it occasionally feels bogged down by an overabundance of melodrama that distracts from the genuine connection that could have remained at the forefront. Nevertheless, "Tere Ishk Mein" succeeds in keeping viewers engaged and guessing, with plenty of unexpected turns and twists that just might keep you riveted to your seat.
One of the standout elements of the film is the music by AR Rahman. His score elevates every emotional beat, weaving seamlessly into the narrative. Each song is strategically placed to enhance the story's tug at the heartstrings, enriching the viewing experience and adding depth to the characters' journeys.
Overall, "Tere Ishk Mein" has brought forth a unique perspective on love, recognizing its complexity while propelling the audience through a series of engaging plot points. Despite its shortcomings in the final act, the film shines brightly as a testament to the power of storytelling. It's a reminder that love, in all its forms, is incredibly intricate and sometimes even twisted.
As I left the theater, I couldn't shake the feeling that this film is poised to linger in the minds of its viewers long after the credits roll. It captures a spectrum of emotions and reveals the many ways we connect with one another beyond the surface level of infatuation. Whether you're a lover of romantic stories or simply enjoy a well-crafted film, "Tere Ishk Mein" deserves a watch.
In conclusion, while it may not be without its flaws, "Tere Ishk Mein" is undoubtedly one of the best films of 2025. It invites viewers to reflect on their own relationships and the many ways love manifests in our lives. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in a story that dives deep into human emotions and relationships, this film is a must-see. I walked away feeling optimistic-not just about the film itself, but about the narratives we can share through cinema that resonate with our own experiences of love and connection.

After long time seen Dhanush in lead role in a pure emotional love story. Tere ishq me is a decent one time watch movie. Movie brings you all that means Action, Romance, Emotions, Father-Son chemistry. Dhanush acting is as always top notch but i was first time surprised from Kirti Sanon's performance. She nailed it. Prakash raj done a superb side role. First half of the movie is surely 10 out of 10 but in the second half and climax, movie lacks somewhere. The length of the movie is slightly upperside so one can feel movie is stretched or lengthy in some moments. But with these loofalls too, movie is must watch once. I am rating 7 out of 10 for this.
"Tere Ishq Mein" (2025) is a film that is significantly elevated by a truly stunning performance from its lead actor, Dhanush. He is completely captivating in the role, bringing a raw intensity and commitment that makes his character's passionate journey compelling to watch. His acting is the undoubted highlight of the entire film.
However, the film's 6/10 rating suggests that despite the power of its lead, the narrative itself struggles to fully resonate. While the film aims to deliver an intense love story, the execution likely falters, possibly due to a weak screenplay or a narrative that becomes predictable. The story may lack the necessary novelty or emotional consistency to maintain engagement throughout its runtime.
The film's focus on intense romance, often a hallmark of director Aanand L. Rai's work, may not always land perfectly, resulting in an uneven viewing experience. While Dhanush delivers brilliance in every scene, the surrounding elements-such as supporting arcs or pacing-are likely the factors that hold the movie back from being truly great.
Overall, "Tere Ishq Mein" is a watchable film primarily for the exceptional quality of Dhanush's performance. However, a less-than-perfect script prevents it from reaching the cinematic heights its star deserves.

Tere Ishk Mein channels the emotional essence of Raanjhanaa and genuinely attempts to recreate that soulful magic. For a good portion of the film, it succeeds. Dhanush and Kriti deliver compelling performances that go beyond what their characters are written to be, and the dialogues are intense, thoughtful, and striking.
The film builds an engaging first half and the initial stretch of the second half remains gripping with its raw emotional energy and strong character moments. However, as it approaches the finale, the narrative begins to lose its balance. The story shifts away from its grounded, well-built foundation and tries to soar into a larger-than-life zone-only to fall short.
While the standout elements remain the performances, the impactful dialogues, and the evocative background score, the storytelling wavers in the final act. Tere Ishk Mein is heartfelt and ambitious, but its ending keeps it from achieving the impact it initially promises.
