I was mostly excited for this episode because of it's title and the build up for this in previous episodes. And man! Creators nailed it. Not only creators but Sadie Sink also.
MaX is one of my favourite character and this episode was special for her, just like Season 4 Episode 4. This episode is so emotional and heart warming.
The conversation between Nancy and Jonathan was well written.
The following may contain minor spoilers, so beware...... People are saying that Max should have run away the moment the portal opened. But how could she have left Holly and run away? And if she had left Holly, these same people would have hated Max for taking advantage of a little girl and leaving her alone. I really liked that conversation between Holly and Max.
The last conversation between MaX and Holly is brilliantly written with strong performances and calm and heartwarming Running Up that Hill soundtrack.

Great episode with a lot of emotional moments, but at some point, someone has to die. It feels like the show keeps building toward real consequences and then refuses to follow through. With the series about to end after five seasons, it would honestly make sense for someone like Nancy or Jonathan to die, or at least one of them. They've been around long enough, their arcs are mostly complete, and a death would actually feel earned.
The Duffer Brothers seem afraid to kill off major characters. I'm not saying characters should die just for shock value, but some deaths are necessary for realism and real character development. I'm tired of the show acting like it's going to get dark and dangerous, only for nothing meaningful to happen. When the stakes are always raised but never paid off, the tension just doesn't hit the way it should.

The Duffer Brothers seem to have a neurological condition that prohibits them from killing off any characters. What was once a show with tension and stakes has been reduced to something akin to a CW production with a bloated budget. The pacing, much like "Shock Jock," is far too slow and could have easily been tightened. Dialogue remains quite cheesy, and this fact is only exemplified by the actors' subpar performances.
Yes, Mrs. Wheeler is absolutely fantastic, but the Demodogs move as slowly as slugs, making the entire situation unbelievable (even by Stranger Things standards). It's such a shame. I was so excited for the hospital scene, only for it to be a dud. Max's talk to Holly is fine, but it was about triple the length it should've been. Ultimately, the emotions are still there, but the tension isn't.
Still quite an enjoyable episode to watch. Interactions between the characters were fine, and the scenes in Camazots remained well-executed.

The episode good but it was a little bit slow episode
This episode nothing include special in it just a long conversation between Nancy and Jonathan and between
The scenes between Steve and dustin was crazy ana that was the main highlights of the episode and some suspense about the upside down open in it
But this episode was a little below my expectations
That's I give it 8/10.
Overall, this episode was great, though there were a couple of minor issues.
The Demodogs attack scene in the hospital was very well done and had some tensions to it. There was a clear reference to Jurassic Park's kitchen scene in the washing room which I thought was really nice. Karen getting to kill the Demodogs was kind of nonsensical, but still pretty cool. It was also great to see Max finally escaping to the real world after so long. It was kind of a let down finding out that Vecna's fear of the cave was just because he killed a guy in there. Steve and Dustin finally made up with one another in a sweet and heartfelt scene. I'm so glad that I don't have to hear them bickering all the time.
The worst scene of the whole episode (maybe the worst of the whole season) was Nancy and Jonathan's "breakup". This was so bad that the Duffer Brothers had to publicly come out to explain that it was a breakup scene. I, like many others, thought this was a proposal scene, and it makes zero sense. Why did they even break up? According to the writers "Nancy deserves to choose her own future, not just a boyfriend". I think that answer makes no sense as they're implying that Jonathan is the problem to Nancy's character development, as if she hasn't developed as a character while being with Jonathan. To make matters even worse, the melting room conveniently stops melting right as they're about to die. This fake-out death is absolutely ridiculous as this would've been the perfect emotional ending for the two. I also loved the use of Eulogy as the OST for the scene.
Overall, this is the best episode of season 5 volume 2, but it would've been so much better without that ridiculous Nancy and Jonathan scene.
