Grew up in Hong Kong.

Had enrolled in the jazz program at New York's New School University.

In the movie "Across The Universe", her father was an extra while she actually acted in the film.

She once appeared as a contestant in the MTV game show competition "Say What Karaoke." She was asked to sing "Pour Some Sugar on Me" but had never heard it before, so she had to wing it.

Used to ice skate.
