His last request was that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Requiem" be performed at his funeral.

His grave is situated in the Père Lachaise cemetery (Paris, France)

Lived together with George Sand (Amandine-Lucie - Aurore Dupin).

Polish composer and piano player. Lived in Paris since 1830 where he changed his name into Frederic François Chopin.

Chopin was the first great composer to be photographed, in 1847 and 1849. A third portrait photo believed to be of him was discovered in 2017.
