Aleksandar "Aleks" Mikic is an actor, screenwriter, film director & producer.
Born to Serbian parents, Aleks was raised in Hong Kong, Australia, and Europe. Aleks studied as an Actor at WAAPA - the Academy of Performing Arts in Western Australia. He is the founder of Flow Studios, one of the largest creative work spaces & production houses in Sydney, Australia.
Aleks has been awarded at notable film festivals both for his directing and acting work. The first co-production with Flow Studios in the recent short comedy-thriller; "What's Up, Neighbour?" won Best Film, where Aleks wrote, directed and performed in the work. Aleks has appeared on stage & screen in Australian, American and British theatre, film and television.
Aleksandar is referred to both as "Aleks" and "Mikic" by colleagues. He is called "Sale" (SAH-leh) in many parts of Europe and has been referred to as Leng Zai in Hong Kong. Mikic will be releasing his debut feature film Butterfly Hill, in 2027; scheduled for co-production in Europe, Australia and New Zealand in February.
