I wanted to thank you all and let you know that after listening to your show from October 16, 2019 and hearing the eChievement Award given to RE-volv, we reached out to RE-volv. As a result, a brand new solar system has been installed at the Surface Creek Animal Shelter in Cedaredge, Colorado.
I usually listen to the show on my hometown Public Radio Station WHQR in Wilmington North Carolina. I listen to eTown because it has great music, and I really enjoy the genuineness of bringing the community together.
There’s the amazing eclectic music and camaraderie on stage that is so unique. But I really love the commitment to community that Helen and Nick have. eTown Hall is a testament to that.
It’s very exciting and inspiring, people trying to promote good values through culture and music. It’s something, that sort of happens on its own, even if you don’t push for it, by inviting people with a similar mindset to emphasize topics that reach for a common good.
It’s incredible how this old building has been enhanced by creative innovations, from environmental to acoustical, so that music can be played, taped, captured and streamed right from the heart of Boulder.
Where I live good radio is hard to find. What I mean by ‘good’ is progressive, AAA type music – emerging, obscure artists. eTown allows me access to all this. Thanks!!!
eTown stands for everything that is good in this world: community, art, inspiration, and action. It’s not often we find such a place in this current world which is so driven by division, profits, and competition. I’ll forever remember eTown as that beacon of a place that forever stands for justice, goodness — and downright fun!
