I'm starting a steel legion army.

Downside: metal guardsmen are more 'spensive.

IDK, I checked some of the recent completed ebay auctions and the SL dont seem to be going for too much.

I’ve been gaming since 1984 and into Warhammer since 1990. I don’t get to play Warhammer as much as I would like so I’m a bit of a novice when it comes to “math hammer”.

So I was musing a bit about how to build my new IG lists. When choosing armor I was thinking of going all high AV or all low AV with a few minor exceptions. The reasoning is if I go all high AV then my opponents medium weapons will have little affect and thus largely wasted (so much for the infantry I know). On the other side of the coin all low AV heavy weapons are overkill and a waste of points.

Any thoughts?
