U.S. stock futures eked out gains on Wednesday following Monday’s advances. Futures of major benchmark indices were largely higher.

Investors await Nvidia's earnings, scheduled to be released after the closing bell today. The four-billion-dollar tech giant’s earnings will serve as a barometer for market strength and verdict of AI spending.

00:11flat across the board s p 500 uh futures here up by 0.06 percent the dow is up by 0.02 percent
00:19the nasdaq is up by 0.06 percent and the iwm the etf that tracks the small cap market
00:26is unchanged here this morning so we are about flat across the board now uh last session here
00:35overall the market saw a positive performance on tuesday with the majority of the sectors
00:39ending the day in the green signaling broad-based investor confidence the industrial sectors was
00:46the standout performer surging by over a percent 1.03 percent this was followed closely by the
00:51financial sector which posted a solid gain of about three quarters of a percent other sectors
00:57contributing to the positive market sentiment included health care it consumer discretionary
01:02materials and utilities however not all sectors participated in the day's gain the consumer
01:09staples sector was the biggest laggard declining by just under a half a percent other sectors that
01:15ended in negative territory were real estate communication services and energy now on the
01:21economic front while the durable goods order for in july fell by 9.3 percent the decline was
01:27smaller than the 10.4 percent drop that had been forecasted this follows a significant 16 and a half
01:34percent increase in orders back in june consumer confidence in august dipped ever so slightly as more
01:41consumers expect annual inflation to rebound um and then also um investors are going to
01:49await nvidia they are going to report their earnings today should be the biggest event of the week it's
01:55scheduled to be released after the closing bell about 4 20 eastern here today the four billion dollar

02:06meanwhile the federal reserve governor lisa cook will be filing a lawsuit to present or to uh prevent her
