International Documentary Association (IDA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and celebrating the world of documentary storytelling. Our mission is to support the vital work of documentary storytellers and champion a thriving and inclusive documentary culture. We believe that documentaries enrich and deepen our culture, fostering a more informed and connected world.

Your donation to IDA plays a crucial role in achieving our mission. Each contribution directly supports our efforts to empower documentary filmmakers, with year-round programming. Your support will fuel our advocacy efforts on behalf of documentary artists and journalists worldwide, ensuring their voices and rights are upheld.

IDA accepts donations by credit card, wire transfer, check, and donations of stocks or securities. We are also able to accept bequests and estates established by donors. Tribute Gifts

Please let us know if your gift is IN HONOR OF or IN MEMORY OF a friend or loved one. If you are mailing us your contribution, please indicate this in the donation form. If you are giving online through our website, tell us whom you’d like to honor or memorialize in the "special instructions" field.
