Hello and welcome to my author page! Whether you’ve read my books before, are thinking of trying one out or just landed here by fate, it’s great to see you!

I am a novelist from Montenegro, an avid reader and a passionate writer with the masters' degrees in philosophy and psychotherapy. With all my love for writing, I hope to see my romantic/mystery novel "ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LOVE" and my thriller/suspense novel "THE SALVADOR DALI FORMULA" published in other languages worldwide soon.

As a lover of romance novels, good psychological thrillers, metaphysics, art and philosophy of ancient cultures every year I spend a few months in various countries, most often it is the UK, trying to remember every street, bookstore, house with an unusual door or riverside cottage, explore a park or forest on the shores of Cornwall, feel the height of the white cliffs of Beach Head, or walk the corridors of centuries-old castles. Apart from imagining interesting heroes, putting my next story to one of the most mysterious places I've ever visited is just as interesting. The rest of the year, I make plans for faraway destinations looking for undiscovered wisdom of ancient teachings that fill my writer's spirit with new uncertainty and inspiration.

I live with my husband and two children on the coast of the beautiful Adriatic Sea in an apartment with a view of the beach, rains, storms, and red sunsets. Outside of travel and hours spent crafting heartbreaker heroes and secret codes, you can find me in the kitchen, on the couch, or at the swimming pool.

If the Da Vinci code was more intellectual, for lack of a better word, it would be this book. The thriller / mystery was compelling and fast paced. Except the richest, smartest, most influential people in the world are already aware of the existence of the secret formula and what it means. This formula is the basis of much of the world's achievements including things as far back Stonehenge. Secrets can be found across history in books, art, religion, etc. This was fast-paced and kept me captivated.

Ultimately, what ruined this book for me was the the writing itself. The book skips around from character to character and it's hard to follow who is saying or doing what when which was very frustrating. The dialogue was extremely awkward and stilted, it felt like it was written in a high school creative writing class.

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC ahead of publication.

This has been called the even better version of 'The Cabin I Code' and I can totally see that. It had a captivating mystery, very intelligent and riveting thriller edge. However, one big piece is missing: the writing style. It jumped from subject to subject, character to character, scene to scene. It's easily confusing and in some places makes no sense at all. Fix that and, folks, you've got a winner here.

When Salvador Dali died he took his secrets to the grave. But what he left behind were hidden messages in his works of art. Hidden in plain sight, but only the most special elite knew about this. Fast forward 30 years, Charles Clark is a struggling reporter who receives an email one day inviting him to a press conference to celebrate Dali. The secret is about to be let out.

This is a fast-paced thriller that will keep you hooked until the end. Clark goes on an adventure of a lifetime to discover secrets long hidden by those who don't want the secrets getting out. During his journey, we root for him, he's a protagonist that came from nothing and has nothing, but because of his determination and will to want more was able to achieve - what he and probably everybody else - never thought he could. We root for the underdog.

Focusing on secret societies, hidden secrets, and secrets of the God Particle this book is compared to the Da Vinci Code. Superbly written, this work connects science with religion. The long standing debate that you can't be a scientist and believe in Jesus is thrown out. He is the science! You can't have science without HIM!

A riveting tale that highlights the author's gift of word and storytelling. Your heart will race and you will feel that suspense rising within. I received an ARC version of this book and leave this review on my own accord.

When a journalist discovers a secret hidden in Salvador Dali's paintings, his life turns upside down, and he becomes a target of the Oxford Secret Five, a group of rogue physicists. As Charles Clark's life changes, he finds himself drawn into a mystery that stretches back to the murder of his own parents years before.

This novel has all the fixings of a successful thriller--strong opening, intriguing art-science connection, and a fast-paced, unique plot.

My enjoyment of the novel was hindered by the stilted dialogue of its characters. Here is a good example:

"'I use the works of Salvador Dali to search the formula of genius,' she told Bonnet that evening, Leaving him breathless.

'Genes are like icicles. While melting, they form new authentic structures of molecules. Still, they are imbued with the same hydrogen particles, which are strongly influenced by magnetic and electric fields,' Bonnet replied, enchanted."

My thanks to the publisher through net galley for the opportunity to read an ARC.

Thank you to Netgalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review. This review is wholly my own.

OMG - was I excited to get an advance copy of this book!!! Historical Mystery/Thriller - yes, please!!!

I absolutely LOVE a good atmospheric story and this one was just simply amazing!

The story grips you from the very beginning and keeps your attention. At time, the build-up felt a little slow, but not slow enough to bore you.

And the ending - WOWZA! For someone who usually figures out the ending, I did not see that coming!

If you enjoy thrillers/mysteries, I DEFINITELY recommend this one.

«The Name of the Rose» meets «The Da Vinci Code».

I read this book in two days and immediately recommended it to my friends. I don't think any of us can live a quality and happy life if we don't know the secret law of our own mind.

This is a psychological thriller with an intellectual smart plot. The secret of everything is hidden in this book. The richest and most influential people in the world actually knew the formula that Salvador Dali also knew. The architects of the ancient world incorporated this formula into ancient megaliths such as Stonehenge, High Crosses or Dolmens.

I recommend this book to fans of James Rollins, John Grisham, Daniel Silva, Dan Brown, Michael Crichton, Steve Berry, Douglas Preston, Brad Thor, Umberto Eco…

This book is suspenseful and very different from anything I've read recently.

Two friends from the orphanage try to uncover the big secret kept by Salvador Dali. But they fall into a maze of murders connected to their parents past. A psychological thriller that will throw you from one place to another. Just when you think you've found out who the killer is, Labovich throws you on the other side of the chasm between science and religion.

This incredibly suspense, strong plot thriller has another thrilling side. It revealed the greatest secrets of genius minds in history through the plot. Scientists, artists and religious leaders will finally be exposed.

The suspense built up slowly & Kept you on the edge of your seat, so to speak' it is one of those books you just couldn't put down. The action takes place in New York, England and Ireland. An action that will not leave you indifferent. You will be forced to ask yourself, did you know everything about yourself? What is the secret to the functioning of your mind, your desires, and the realization of your desires?

Captivating from the first page to the last! And there are romantic elements too!

I recommend this book to both men and women, and especially to successful people who will be delighted with the theories and conclusions about the laws of consciousness.

This book is beyond amazing. The Salvador Dali Formula is a great example of an intellectual psychological thriller. The twists and turns are the best.

In this novel, there is a secret of everything. A surprising ending that I didn't see coming. Intelligent and breathtaking pacing. A totally unputdownable mystery thriller with a clever twist. Crime, and romantic elements, and a twisty plot.

The Salvador Dali Formula follows the traditional principles of thriller fiction by starting with a ruthless murder and developing with suspense through the detective process. The narrative mode of classical detective fiction provides The Salavdor Dali Formula with sophisticated clues and breathtaking suspense emerging in the process of deciphering the mysterious formula about the secret abilities of the human mind in the paintings of Salvador Dali but also in the reef between science and religion.

Charles Clark, a journalist barely making ends meet, accidentally stumbles upon it. But is there such a thing as an accident?

The Salvador Dali Formula - a review by Rosemary Kenny.

An homage to Dan Brown's Robert Langdon and the Da Vinci Code, by D. Labovich.
Charles Clark and his friend Ethan Cox are at the Dali 30th Anniversary press conference in the Museum of Modern Art in London, when the former triggers a débâcle...but why?
What's the Atom Dali? Who's the Adept?

An international quest fraught with death, danger and revelation, by D. Labovich, that will keep you puzzled to the very end, before a denouement that you won't have seen coming. Why not try it for yourself to see what you think!

Well, this was exactly what I expected. Since this book has been compared to the Da Vinci Code, I expected an intellectual theme at the heart of the plot. The author has excellently written simple and accurate dialogues so that we can follow the intellectual, scientific, and religious sense of the formula. Also, decoding such an intellectual topic is completely understandable.
This is not a book for relaxation and entertainment, like some classic psychological thrillers. This is the book that you have to think about while reading, in order to follow the investigation of the formula encoded in your mind.
Anyway, the formula is fantastic and I'm really looking forward to learning a lot about it.
If you enjoy thrillers/mysteries, I DEFINITELY recommend this one.

Wow! I still do not believe that the author explained such a complicated intellectual topic in such a simple way. This is where the quality of this book lies.

For all fans of art, history, and especially Salvador Dali, this is a masterpiece explaining the deepest essence of science, religion, atomic nature and surrealism.
God is science, and science is God. The essence of humanity is in the relationship between science and religion. When a person understands that, he can achieve everything he wants in life.
This book answered many questions that I didn't even know had answers.
A true thriller with elements of paranormal psychology, which is actually our only reality.

I recommend this book to all lovers of a good thriller, history, art, but also to people who are interested in intellectual topics and academic fiction.

This is an action packed thriller & murder mystery. This book has been compared to the Da Vinci Code. But here we have the connection between science & religion - God.
He is science. The God Particle is the big debate of the book. The secret five all have an interest, but there are others who didn’t make the cut to join. There are characters who’ve been declared dead, even buried. The story is compelling, though complex. It held my interest throughout, with multiple twists & turns.
This book was originally written in Serbian/Croatian but the translation is good.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy from the author & I am writing an honest voluntary review.

If any book could take this far and answer the questions about the existence of God and his relationship with people, it is this book.
I have always thought that Einstein and Nikola Tesla knew more than what they told us and this book explains it the right way.
Thanks to the author for a wonderful book.
I read the new edited version that comes out on March 21st.

I really liked the concept of this book (the knowledge, creativity, and imagination behind the story are truly amazing) but the execution could have been better. I don’t want to seem stupid but I was confused 80% of the time.

This story had its moments. It took awhile to get to the point but there was a decent amount of action that it worked out. The multiple POVs were hard to follow at times, but at the same time it did add to the story to get those different POVs. Without them, I feel that it would have been less interesting and I also believe the story wouldn’t have been as well rounded.

The adventure aspect was great, the characters weren’t the worst and overall it was a decent read.

D. Labovich's "The Salvador Dalí Formula" is a gripping and enigmatic tale that seamlessly blends mystery, art, and suspense. The novel unfolds around Charles Clark, an unsuccessful journalist who stumbles upon Salvador Dalí's mysterious formula about the secret abilities of the human mind, setting off a chain of events that turn his life into a whirlwind of intrigue and danger.

The narrative kicks off with the discovery of Dalí's secret encoded within the famous painting, "Persistence of Memory." Labovich deftly crafts a story that not only delves into the secrets of the mind but also weaves in elements of romance, murder mystery, and a shadowy scientific society. The plot is intricately layered, offering readers a multifaceted experience that keeps them guessing until the very end.

The characters, particularly Charles and anthropologist Anita Ruiz, are well-developed and engaging. Labovich skillfully navigates their journey as they become entangled in a dangerous web of secrets, facing threats from both a secret scientific society and a mystical killer with a chilling connection to Charles' past. The tension rises as they uncover the hidden formula, transforming their lives in unforeseen ways.

The novel's pacing is expertly handled, maintaining a perfect balance between moments of high-stakes action and unraveling the layers of the mystery. Labovich skillfully integrates historical elements, incorporating ancient megaliths, churches, and museums into the narrative, adding depth and richness to the story.

The overarching theme of the greatest secret in history, waiting to be recognized, adds a sense of urgency and importance to the plot. Labovich's prose is vivid and evocative, immersing the reader in a world where every discovery brings new dangers and revelations.

While the novel is an enthralling and complex read, some readers may find the intricate details of the plot challenging to follow at times. The multiple layers of the mystery, while engaging, require the reader's full attention to grasp the full scope of the narrative.

In conclusion, "The Salvador Dalí Formula" is a thought-provoking and captivating exploration of mystery and danger, woven into the intriguing world of art and the human mind. D. Labovich's skillful storytelling and intricate plot make this novel a compelling and satisfying read for those who enjoy a blend of art, mystery, and suspense.

mysterious!

Crazy convoluted history of religion vs science, great characters that always changed roles, kept me reading and wondering what the heck was happening!?

I didn’t understand much of the long high-thinking explanations but they didn’t matter… loved it!

This novel was really, really hard to get through. The clunky and amateurish writing was incredibly distracting and the characters are comically overblown with literal dramatic moustache-twirling. "I will end this agony, Donald Wilson. The Secret Five from Oxford will be destroyed!" I laughed out loud at this line, and that's on page one.

There are glaring grammatical errors that detract from the reading experience, and the strange use of exclamation points and commas are equally jarring. I'm a huge fan of the esoteric and the mystical, so this was particularly disappointing.

I've seen this compared to Dan Brown, but his novels are genuinely fun page-turners. This desperately needs a good editor. If this was a bad translation, I'm hoping for a better one, because the plot and concept are thoroughly fascinating and I was really looking forward to this.

I received this ARC from BookSirens and Dushica Labovich in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
