Possessive Mafia Vows is book four in the Ruthless Billionaire Mafia Kings series by Vivy Skys. This is Sienna and Kyle’s book. The blurb says it is a stand alone and more or less, it can be. But...the main event, that fateful night five years previously when Sienna and Kyle met, is better described in the previous book, Convenient Mafia Vows, which is Kyle’s brother, Caleb and Sienna’s best friend, Victoria’s book. These two books are definitely connected and I think of them as more of a duet, since these four characters are so connected in so many ways. Their stories intertwine. So you would enjoy them more if you read them together.
Kyle Murray is I believe the oldest of the Murray family and is also their lawyer. Their family is the leader of the New York Irish Mafia. Five years previously, at a New Year’s Eve celebration, Kyle met Sienna, and Kyle’s brother also met Victoria that night. But the night ended in tragedy with a car crash. When Kyle’s brothers pulled him out, they told him the woman in the car with him had passed away. For five long years, Kyle has grieved. He’d never been able to get past his feelings. Then, Victoria came back into his brother’s life and along with her, was her best friend, a ghost to Kyle. The woman that has lived in his heart every single day. His Sienna.
Sienna Walker is an artist. After the accident five years ago, she was severely burned and scarred. It took years to start painting again. But she never has been able to get past the anger of the man that was in the car with her leaving her alone, abandoning her. Then, there he is, after all this time, the brother of her best friend’s fiance. He claims he was told she was dead. That he’s never forgotten her, that he wants to try again. Can she ever forgive him, much less trust him?
A dream come true for Sienna is that Victoria’s boyfriend, Caleb, has helped her to open an art gallery. At the same time, the rest of her life seems to be turning upside down. Her plastic surgeon that has treated her scars for years, is suddenly showing a different kind of interest in her. She has noticed strange men hanging around outside the gallery and possibly following her. Also, someone from her childhood that she never thought she wanted to see again has shown up. Not to mention, her confusing feelings towards Kyle. He keeps proclaiming his feelings for her, saying he’ll do anything for her. All of this is overwhelming to say the least. Why is everything happening at once? What does it mean? Are any of these people telling her the truth? Or is she being manipulated?
Okay, I’ll stop there. I’ll get the negatives out of the way first. Sienna drove me crazy for a good part of this book. She was just all over the place. Yes, she had everything going wrong at the same time. And, her mind just seemed to sort of shut down with all of it. Time and time again, she allowed herself to be put into these not so great situations. “Come with me, Sienna. I’ll protect you” And she’d just blindly do what they told her to do. All except for the one person I WANTED her to trust. Kyle! He truly did love her and he was trying so hard to give her the space to make her own decisions, to come to him rather than to try to push too hard. So many times inside my head, I was yelling, “What are you doing?!”
On the positive side, this book was crazy suspenseful! Or should I say stressful?! I was sitting on the edge of the couch, leaning over my Kindle, trying to make my eyes read the words faster. By the end, I felt like I ran a marathon.
So, if you want maximum enjoyment, read both books. And dare I suggest, put on a seatbelt because you’ll need it. Bring along all your patience because I feel like you will need that as well!

Misleading Blurb
The blurb was very misleading. It made it seem like that would be the story and that is why I got this book. That story line was intriguing. However, everything that happens in the blurb happened before the books starts. Probably in a previous book in this series. I haven’t read them and have no intention to. I hate when an author is misleading to sell a book. If you need to do that, just write the original story… The GMC was not a character I could like. She was naive and just plain stupid at every turn. Made the absolute dumbest choices she could make when she was actually making choices instead of being a puppet with no back bone. Seriously, this girl sucked. And she had no character growth. Even in the final epilogue she acts dumb. Save your time. Read something else. Seriously.

The author blurbed this as a standalone so I read this, book #4 without reading the previous books and I had no clue as to what was going on. There's a cast of thousands who must be from other books and events that must've happened to the main characters prior to this book and you just don't know what the heck is going on. It made this a very disjointed and confusing read. Don't bother reading this unless you're going to read the series in order. I've been very generous giving this two stars and if I'd read the series in its entirety it might've been worth another star or two. I'm not going to read the previous books or the next in the series. Honestly I should've DNF this.

I came into this new author and series blind, never read any of Miss Vivy Skys before, and I'm defiantly not disappointed. I think that you might have to read the last book to know what happened when Sienna was kidnapped, since it happened before this story takes place, Convenient Mafia Vows, since Sienna is BFF with Victoria Callahan.
Sienna Walker, 27ish, had an abusive father until she was 6, that's when he almost killed her mother, but her mother survived and took care of Sienna until she passed away. At 20 Sienna met a guy at a New Years Eve party and their chemistry was off the charts. That was the night that changed her life mentally and physically. Getting hit by a truck and being left for dead by the guy's brothers, not seeing this guy until 6 years later.
Kyle Murry, lawyer and not a violent man, according to him. I think he might be the oldest brother or the 3rd if it's the twins, again I don't know but he does act like an older brother but also acts like a middle brother.

The book doesn't match the synopsis. Plus, it was supposed to be a standalone. There are a few vague references to Sienna's kidnapping, but that event doesn't happen in this book unless she's going she's going to be kidnapped a second time by the same Bratva family that are barely mentioned. All events so far hint at some nefarious collaboration between her shady father and her weird plastic surgeon.
If Kyle and Sienna reconnected at Victoria and Caleb's wedding (which isn't clear), that happens before this plot begins. Kyle certainly didn't spot Sienna in a crowd after thinking she was dead. If those important factors occur in a previous book, the author doesn't even provide flashbacks or clear descriptions to bring readers up-to-date.

Kyle and Sienna met and were in love from the off they clicked, then he mistakenly believed she was dead
This has been a simply fantastic read from start to finish and as I have been fortunate enough to read the previous books in this series, I was able to understand hoe Kyle had felt when he discovered that in fact Sienna was still very much alive.
Sienna has known that life is very rarely easy for someone like her, her mother had worked so hard to raise her after her abusive father simply walked out but losing her at sixteen had been a huge blow and it had only been her best friend now married to Caleb and a new mother to Holly that had kept her going.
Caleb and Victoria have been wonderful and she owes them so much without their funding and belief she would not have her own gallery, a place she displays her own and other artists pictures and as a new enterprise she has only sold a fe pictures and she is very aware of this fact.
Now that Kyle has returned to her life she has felt as though a part of herself has clicked back into place and it is as though the years have simply slipped by and if it was not for the many scar that are all over her face and body, she could have believed the crash and subsequent fire was a nightmare.
Since Kyle has returned it is strange that Nick her plastic surgeon has started pressuring her into dates and turning up uninvited at her studio and apartment, this has raised warning flags with Kyle and it is unusual for his gut feeling to lead him wrong but even he could never have envisioned the truth behind his interest.
Then her father has also suddenly arrived back on the scene after over thirty years, he seems to be very interested in the Gallery along with Kyle and this along with the huge amounts of cash he is gambling in the casino is also raising more warning signs as well as the men that seem to be watching her home, gallery and following her all of which is a sure bad sign as far as Kyle is concerned.
I guarantee that you will be blown away by the truth behind the individuals, will Kyle be able to keep his girl safe. If only he could take her with him to Ireland where they are unknown and could have a quiet and loving life together.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Kyle Murray was a lawyer for the Murray Irish mafia and Sienna Walker was an artist. They met at a nightclub one New Year’s Eve and their attraction was magnetic and they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. Opting for someplace more private, they decided to leave and ended up in a horrific car accident. Kyle’s brothers pulled him from the wreckage and left Sienna behind, telling Kyle that she died on impact. Sienna didn’t die, she survived and received burns over most of her body. They met again after six years and there was anger and resentment. Kyle because his brothers didn’t save Sienna too and denied him six years with her, and Sienna because she still wasn’t over the trauma of the accident. Kyle wanted them to start over but came on too strong at first. Sienna wasn’t sure what she wanted when Kyle agreed to give her space. The Russian bratva kidnapped Sienna when they thought they had found Kyle’s weakness. They were right, but he wasn’t going to let them take away his woman, his baby, his life.
Vivi Skys has created another well written story with lots of suspense and drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat in anticipation of what might happen next. There were lots of twists in this sometimes-scary story. The story plot is multi-layered and complicated, just like the characters. There were a lot of supporting characters to keep up with. Victoria was my favorite side character because of her bubbly attitude and unwavering support of her best friend Sienna. The author has done a fabulous job with world building and bringing to life the mafia family and Russian factions. There was violence, but that is to be expected with a mafia story. Overall, I enjoyed this dark, intense, and complicated suspense drama full of family drama, tension, revenge, mistrust, betrayal, and redemption. I would recommend it for those readers interested in mafia romance stories.

A Forever that Was Meant to Be -
Sienna and Kyle connection started years ago, but the circumstances of that encounter led distrust and confusion. Even though Sienna tried to stay away from Kyle, she always found herself gravitating towards him, but her apprehension led to a constant struggle to accept him. Whilst Kyle had never gotten over Sienna, he decided to take his time to get her to acknowledge their connection, but his plans were thwarted by another suitor’s interest in her.
Unfortunately, just before Sienna and Kyle could resolve their difference, her life was thrown into turmoil, which led to a near fatal accident. Luckily, Kyle was able to rescue Sienna in time and discovered the amazing life changing news, which gave him the confidence to declare his love for her, so they could get back on track towards the happily ever after they deserved.
I thought Victoria and Caleb’s story in Convenient Mafia Vows was really mind blowing, but I was wrong because Vivy Skys to not only bring her ‘A Game’ in this book, but she elevated my reading experience to a level that I never imagined. This book is twisted, obsessive, steamy story, that is impossible to put down once you start reading.

Luckily, Kyle was able to rescue Sienna in time and discovered the amazing life changing news, which gave him the confidence to declare his love for her, so they could get back on track towards the happily ever after they deserved.
I thought Victoria and Caleb’s story in Convenient Mafia Vows was really mind blowing, but I was wrong because Vivy Skys to not only bring her ‘A Game’ in this book, but she elevated my reading experience to a level that I never imagined. This book is twisted, obsessive, steamy story, that is impossible to put down once you start reading.

Sienna and Kyle
Sienna is an extreme people pleaser. A doormat. I do not admire FMC who never evolve into a stronger smarter woman. This is who Sienna is throughout the book. She’s very malleable and easy to gaslight. And she is constantly gaslighted. Her mind is never fully engaged so she always doubts herself and wonders if she actually heard what she thought she heard. Then she decides she must be wrong. This goes on throughout the length of the book.
Kyle sees this about her and tries to be as open and truthful as possible but Sienna can easily be talked out of trusting him. Her father shows up after 20 years, her OM surgeon friend bullies his way into her life and her personal space, and she’ll believe these two more than anyone, esp Kyle. Her inner dialogue makes her sound like she’s weak and dumb. More likely tho, she really really needs therapy. Sienna needs to develop a spine.
There’s OM drama and for a mafia book, it’s the villain who seems like the alpha here. There’s tons of side characters from previous books but they all seem to be bumbling around trying to figure out what’s going on. Well, so am I.
No cheating, dual POV. The story slogs along. Not much of a plot and the end is anticlimactic.

Sienna in a nightclub when she sees a man who is Kniickie. They lock eyes and decide to go look at the sunrise together. As they are driving the are hit by another vehicle. Knickie is rescued but sienna is very severely injured.
Time has passed and knickie aka Kyle has gone to Ireland to recuperate. He comes back and goes to a gallery opening when he sees sienna. She’s the owner of the gallery. They reconnect. A man walks up to sienna who is her doctor and takes her over to meet some friends. To Kyle he looks familiar but not sure how. His brothers arrive at the gallery with sienna’s best friend who is married to one of Kyle’s brother. Sienna’s father shows up trying to reconnect with her. She hasn’t seen him since she was about 4. He’s nothing but trouble.
This is an awesome book. The characters and the story line are really good.

Absolutely enjoyed reading this book it was amazing, the characters were captivating. This story was about Kyle, and Sienna, they were a inseparable couple until the car crash of he'll. It has been six years and Kyle is still having nightmares of her death. Kyle went out with his sister-in-law and brother to a gallery and when he got to the gallery he thought he had seen someone looked like her, then when she came over his heart ached. He was talking to her, he honestly thought she had died. Nick her plastic surgeon found her kissed her cheek then put his arm around her, Kyle didn't like him and started to look into him. Kyle still loves her but can't forgive himself for leaving her and doesn't blame her if she hated seeing him.

Exciting read !!!!
What a tear jerker !!!!
Sienna and her best friend are at a costume party , and she ends up with a guy that reminds her of a character from Grease . Once in the car , things go from Great to not so great in an instant !!!!
Both of their lives change . Dramatically.
Fast forward to 6 years later .
Kyle is back from Ireland and his sister - in - laws bestie is at her gallery for opening night . Never guess who ????
As Sienna and Kyle get back together , lots of intrigue and adventure start happening , all at the same time !!!

If you want a real tear jerker look no further than this book.
To Kyle and Sienna it was love at first sight but a car accident while out for a drive split them up as she was left for dead by his family.
Kyle had mourned Sienna for nearly six years until he found out she hadn't died and he now wanted to love and look after her, there is one problem.
There is another man on the scene, her doctor who had been with her throughout her surgeries, Nick.
Its such a really strong story with Kyle's family mafia and with Nick's help who works with the Russian Bratva to ruin them.
So many family secrets yet to come out and I really loved how everything works out.

The title would lead one to think this was a different story instead of this soap opera of conflicted feelings. There's very little 'mafia' about this. Sienna is at the center of manipulations but instead of telling them ALL to leave her alone, she is passive. Instead of asking Kyle what is going on, she just invents stories and motives, and drives herself to distraction. She chooses to do nothing. This doesn't work for me. Just tell your father NO! Then she gets an offer to buy her favorite piece and she questions that! "What if they're purchasing it for all the wrong reasons?" good grief. This is my 1st and last book by this author. DNF at 30%.

This is such a beautifully written book!
My heart absolutely breaks and jumps for joy throughout it for both Kyle and Sienna. Every character is so well written, the good and the bad.
The heat between these two jumps off the pages.
Everything the Sienna has to go through in her life is just heartbreaking. I mean, how much pain and trauma does one person have to suffer through, and one that is truly just so gentle. But the strength of a lioness lives in her for sure.
I absolutely adore Kyle, for who he is, he has the sweetest soul!.

not really “mafia”
There was literally no depth to the Mafia aspect, like it was mentioned and that’s it. I feel like the mmc had no depth either like it was a very predictable “novella”. it was just so love at first sight, and then the fmc getting nearly killed so many times was just… idk. Corny. lol. I’ve read a lot of Mafia tropes and this just didn’t fit the bill. If there are other books that explain/build the world better and came before this book, then I would retract my statement. But just reading this one was very vague. And the mmc name was Kyle. Sorry Kyle’s. But too many memes have spoiled the name

1.5 ⭐️ I’m on a roll for reading not great books, which maybe skews my opinion, because 3 books back to back for me that isn’t great has me a little sour but this book fell in line unfortunately with the other 1/2⭐️ reviews here - it was supposed to be a standalone but the beginning was very confusing and didn’t line up with the blurb of this book - I’m usually good at putting the puzzle pieces together but this one had me wondering wtf is going on from the very beginning and it never really got better - the FMC wasn’t great either - and there wasn’t much mafia context either - overall, I was just….disappointed.

These two had a friction filled romance that grows to something much deeper. Both have scars and faults but a deep respect for when each is about and wants.

I liked it but….
The story wasn’t bad as I kept going to the end. I like to know how it ends. But heaven help us with sienna. She was absolutely killing me with her wishwash ways. It was too much honestly. She loved Kyle and didn’t trust her father but goes with him to his house and stays there even tho she’s uncomfortable and whines the whole time. Same as her surgeon, ( can’t remember his name). He shows up out of the blue, gives her creeps but she goes with him and once again leave Kyle behind. Ugh she about killed me

The characters Kyle and Sienna are both scarred by life and have become very hard because of it. Their life and romance is not easy or without danger. He is the only one who can help her when she is left for dead and she comes to him for help because he is the mafia fixer and they go to him when they want to get rid of their problem. A great story from a good series.

This was an awesome book. I loved the reunion between Sienna and Kyle. I was so looking forward to their love story and I was not disappointed. The older half-brother to Kyle was a surprise. Bringing someone from Sienna's past back was interesting. There were a lot of twists and turns in this book. The ending was well worth the read. I highly recommend this book to all dark mafia romance readers.
