    Devil Daggers' stripped-down and distilled essence of first-person shooter intensity will take up a lot of my time in the weeks to come. Every second longer that I survive in its hellish arena is a new record for myself to break, over and over again. It's a brutal, but brilliant shooter that finds strength in its minimalism, stretching a few seconds of action here and there into endless hours of dreadful fun.

    Astonishing graphic, fun but redundant

    Devil daggers sure has some astonishing features like its morbid and lo-fi graphics and its additive gameplay. However, eventually it does fell short on the fun factor : game is amazing played for 1 or at best for another half hour as well, but then you have probably seen everything the game has to offer. So, for the lovers of the genre ( which I assume are the highest score-type) : is an instant must-buy. However, for all the others.. yes, you can buy it and enjoy it just for the theme, design and gameplay, but at the start it will give no more than a casual game experience that only after try and die multiple times can give satisfaction.. and by then you'll have already probably uninstall it.

    Less rules make endless fun

    My first of fps has begun with this game.... I'm loving games that have simple arcade style, DD also has simple movements and way of attack. To survive, this game needs only WASD, space, and mouseLR. Homing dagger is powerful weapon but you must survive around 150sec, so DD's first section forces learing basic skill of move aim to novice FPS player. But after learn basis, player never be allowed to depend weapon's force. Homing is limited firmly, you can shoot straight dagger unlimitedly but enemy will be spawned beyond amount of its daggers. Upgrade of the dagger is defensive preparation against endless or powerful enemy, it doesn't make this game easy. To survive longer and to beat enemies more, you must understand how to kill them quickly and smartly. After I played this game, I can play other FPS with pure fun, and also I can play DD with more fun!

    Fun game that does one thing very well

    This game is beautiful in its simplicity: just run around a limited space shooting an ever increasing number of enemies. Sessions are measured in seconds and as of right now my best is 72. Every fraction of a second more feels like triumph. It's my go-to game for a 5 minute or less gaming fix due to the almost non-existent load times and frantically intense game play. Recommended if you want a fast game that doesn't require much commitment or complexity.

    It depends on you!

    Do you like thinking while running, aiming in 3d at dodging enemies, dying to improve: Quake3 + Crimsonland combined? Then pick it!! All other cases - leave it be.
