Hong Kong Series - 4

Liu Ma Kee was a century-old shop in Hong Kong, best known for its rich, hand-crafted fermented bean curd. For generations, it was a beloved taste of home and a symbol of the city’s food culture.

This artwork captures a moment from my exploration of Hong Kong’s streets, when I stumbled upon a small warehouse filled with leftover things from local moving and removal services.

The scene felt raw and honest — a reflection of the city itself: layered, improvised, and always in motion.

During my wander through Hong Kong’s backstreets, I stumbled upon Select 18 — a tiny vintage shop tucked along Tung Street. The shop felt like stepping into another time, filled with old phones, camera, record covers, and stories waiting in the dust.

Tin Shing Metal Hardware Store is a small shop on a narrow road in Sai Kung town. It stands out for its packed, cluttered display of tools and supplies, along with its old-style Cantonese signs.
