Story
I adopted Chloe when she was 3 months old from Suffolk Humane Society in 2018. She is such a sweet sociable cat that people who come to visit us always adore and are shocked by how friendly she is. She is now 8 years old (her estimated birthday is April 24, 2018). Unfortunately as my home/family has now grown since I adopted her, Chloe has not been able to adjust to her new surroundings as I hoped. My hope for her is to go to a home where she can receive all the love and attention she deserves and hopefully be with someone where their home is not as overwhelming as mine has been for her. She adores my now 13 year old (we got her when he was 5) but she has not gone near my youngest who’s now 3 - so that’s why I put unknown for kids. She lost some teeth and has a heart murmur now that she’s gotten older, but otherwise has been very healthy. She is an indoor cat. She loves to be pet but does not like pats, and she never intentionally tries to hurt and will warn usually before doing so.

Story
Sylvia will be 2 years old on August 2nd. I got her from a friend who’s cat had an unexpected litter. She has been super sweet and loves to cuddle right up to your face. She is pretty vocal.I will say, she is a little weary of new people but eventually warms up. She would need an owner that is patient and has time to play. She stays pretty active and intrigued in most things.

Story
I got her from a friend group of mine, she’s about 8 to 9 years old. She is a friendly and very interesting cat, she would be great if I could be home all the time and she just needs constant affection so I hope her next home can do that. She isn’t terrible with other animals but she isn’t nice to my other cat. She seems okay with dogs but little experience seeing her with dogs.

Story
I found Will and Grace under my shed after their feral mom gave birth. I could not bear to see more feral kittens in my neighborhood (I've tried to trap mama to get her fixed but have not had any luck). They are about 6-8 weeks old, they're very bonded and they really need to go together. They are litter trained (a few accidents here and there,. but that's a given), they are super loveable and will steal your heart! I wish I could keep them, my 3 cats are having a big issue with them being in the house, they are starting to fight with each other. I just want them to go to a good home together, they are the sweetest things.

Story
I had got this cat from coworker because I wanted one. I eventually had to take ownership of my dog from my previous marriage because my ex-wife can no longer take care of him. My dog generally barks at other animals he sees but he’s never been homed with another animal. It’s a lot of stress keeping them separated in a 1 bedroom apartment and I want him to get the love he deserves.

Story
Meet Senpai and Mochi! They are amazing cats and deserve a home with people that love and care for them. Mochi is an 8 y/o brown tabby, and Senpai is a 7 y/o grey tabby. They are my babies but unfortunately I can no longer keep up with their care and they deserve better. Mochi is a bit distant at first but once he warms up to you he’s super cuddly and loving. he prefers bigger toys he can kick at. Senpai is very sweet and has a bit of an attitude. he can be pretty independent at times but, when he wants, is a very good cuddler and loves playing with crinkly toys or springs. they are indoor only !!! they have been on purina one uninary tract health food because Mochi is prone to UTIs

These cats are in Virginia Beach, Virginia too!

Meet Skeeter 🐾🤎~1 year old | Female | Spayed | Brown TabbySkeeter is a sweet, social girl with beautiful warm brown tabby markings and little random splashes of orange throughout her coat that make her extra unique. This affectionate girl was brought into our rescue after being found by a concerned citizen, and it didn’t take long for us to realize just how special she is. Skeeter absolutely loves people and has never met a conversation she didn’t want to be part of. She’s very chatty and always ready to tell you all the latest “cat business.”Skeeter is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. She enjoys scratch pads, felt mice, cozy cat beds, and soaking up attention from her humans. Whether she’s following you around talking or curled up nearby relaxing, she simply enjoys being part of the family. She is:✨ Affectionate✨ Chill✨ Communicative✨ Curious✨ Food motivated✨ Gentle✨ Playful✨ SnugglyWe believe Skeeter should be the only cat in the home. And she does NOT do well with younger children. A home with older respectable children would be fine. Dogs are currently unknown. Her favorite foods include Fancy Feast Chicken in Gravy, Sheba Cuts, and Purina ONE Adult Chicken dry food.Since entering our care, Skeeter has been:✔ Spayed✔ Vaccinated✔ Microchipped✔ Combo testedShe has recovered wonderfully from her spay and is now officially ready to find her forever home.If you’re looking for a loving, talkative companion who will happily keep you company and make your house feel more like home, Skeeter may be your perfect match. 🐾🤎

Story
Meet Perkins 🖤🤍Perkins is one of those cats who quietly works his way into your heart. This handsome tuxedo boy has soft eyes, an easygoing personality, and the kind of gentle spirit that makes you want to protect him forever. At approximately a year old, Perkins is still learning that life can be safe, calm, and full of love. He’s a shy boy at first — and understandably so after the start he’s had — but underneath that cautious exterior is an incredibly sweet cat who simply needs a little patience and understanding.✨ About Perkins:• Approximately 1 year old• Neutered male• Short-haired black and white tuxedo• Vaccinated, microchipped, and combo tested🐾 Personality:• Gentle• Easygoing• Quiet• Sweet• Shy at first• Loves feline companionship but can also thrive soloPerkins enjoys the simple things in life:Comfy cat beds, scratch pads, catnip toys, felt mice, and a good meal of Fancy Feast Chicken in Gravy or Sheba Cuts. He also enjoys Purina One Adult chicken dry food. And those eyes… they say everything.✨ His StoryPerkins was trapped by a concerned citizen and brought to local animal control before coming into our care shortly after. At first, he was unsure and overwhelmed. His whole world had changed overnight. But within a few days, we started to see who Perkins really was — a kind, gentle little man who wanted so badly to feel safe.He has done wonderfully in rescue and during his recovery, and now he’s finally ready to find the forever home he deserves.🖤 A Note About His NoseYou may notice that Perkins’ nose is still healing. This injury happened because the humane trap he was caught in was not covered. When traps are left uncovered, frightened cats can panic and injure themselves trying desperately to escape what they perceive as danger.Thankfully, Perkins is healing beautifully, and we fully expect his nose to continue improving with time. His story is also an important reminder:👉 Always cover humane traps immediately after trapping. It helps cats feel safe and prevents injuries like this.🏡 The Home Perkins NeedsPerkins would thrive in a calm, patient home that allows him time to settle in and come out of his shell naturally. He gets along well with other cats and may enjoy having a feline friend, but he could also do perfectly fine as a solo cat with loving humans.Dogs and children are unknown.Perkins may not be the boldest cat in the room. But he is the kind of cat who makes every small moment feel meaningful. The first slow blink. The first time he comes forward for attention. The first time he truly relaxes. Those moments with cats like Perkins are everything. 🖤

Story
Meet Sterling 🖤🤍Sterling is a stunning young tuxedo girl with soulful golden eyes and a heart that’s still learning it’s safe to be loved. At approximately 10–12 months old, Sterling has already been through more than any young cat should. Because of that, she approaches the world cautiously at first. She may hiss when she’s nervous, but underneath that scared exterior is a gentle girl who simply needs patience, kindness, and time. And honestly? Watching cats like Sterling slowly learn to trust is one of the most rewarding things in the world.✨ About Sterling:• Approximately 10–12 months old• Spayed female• Short-haired black and white tuxedo• Vaccinated, microchipped, and combo tested🐾 Personality:• Quiet• Gentle• Shy at first• Observant• Sweet once comfortable• Independent but enjoys companionshipSterling is not aggressive whatsoever — she just likes to make sure the world is safe before fully relaxing into it.Once she settles in, you begin to see glimpses of the soft, sweet girl underneath:The curious looks. The quiet companionship. The slow understanding that nobody is going to hurt her anymore.🖤 Favorite Things:• Cozy cat beds• Scratch pads• Felt mice• Catnip toys• Fancy Feast Chicken in Gravy• Sheba Cuts• Purina One Adult chicken dry food✨ Her StorySterling was trapped by a concerned citizen and brought to local animal control before entering our care shortly after. The transition into rescue was overwhelming for her at first, and it took several days for her to begin decompressing and realizing she was finally safe. But even through her fear, it became clear very quickly that Sterling is not mean — she’s simply unsure. A cat who has had to survive learns to protect herself first. Now that she’s safely indoors, recovering, vetted, and cared for, Sterling is finally ready for the next chapter of her life: a forever home of her own.🏡 The Home Sterling NeedsSterling would thrive in a calmer home with humans who understand that shy cats need time to bloom. She gets along well with other cats and may enjoy having a calm feline friend to help her continue building confidence, though she could also do well as a solo cat with patient adopters.Dogs and children are unknown.Sterling may not be the cat who climbs immediately into your lap on day one.But she is the kind of cat whose trust feels incredibly special once you earn it.The quiet ones are worth it every single time. 🖤
