'Nathan Burgoine's first novel, Light, was a finalist for both the Lambda Literary Award for LGBT SF/Fantasy/Horror, and the BOTYA 2013 Gay & Lesbian (Adult Fiction) ForeWord award. His first queer YA novel, Exit Plans of Teenage Freaks, was a finalist for a Prix Aurora Award. Since then, he's completed a contemporary queer fantasy trilogy, Triad Blood, Triad Soul, and Triad Magic.

For shorter fiction lovers lovers, 'Nathan has written the queer romance novellas "In Memoriam," "Handmade Holidays," "Saving the Date," "Faux Ho Ho," "Village Fool," and "Felix Navidad." His first full collection of short fiction. including five new stories and a novelette, is Of Echoes Born. He returned to YA with a queer rom-com Hi-Lo, Stuck With You (from Lorimer Kids), and a YA novella, "Hope Echoes," included in Three Left Turns to Nowhere, from Bold Strokes Books.

A cat lover, 'Nathan managed to fall in love and marry Daniel, who is a confirmed dog person. Their ongoing "cat or dog?" détente ended with the rescue of huskies. They live in Ottawa, Canada, where socialized health care and gay marriage have yet to cause the sky to cave in.

Jeffrey Ricker is the author of Detours (2011), the YA fantasy The Unwanted (2014), The Final Decree (2020), and co-author (with ’Nathan Burgoine and J. Marshall Freeman) of Three Left Turns to Nowhere. His stories have appeared in Foglifter, Phoebe, Little Fiction, The Citron Review, The Saturday Evening Post, and others. A 2014 Lambda Literary Fellow and recipient of a 2015 Vermont Studio Center residency, he has an MFA in creative writing from the University of British Columbia and teaches creative writing at Webster University.

Nathan Sims grew up knowing he wanted to be a storyteller. Somewhere along the way his storytelling turned from the written word to the stage and he spent many years acting, directing, and teaching before returning to his first love: writing. He currently lives outside Washington, D.C. with his partner. His fiction can be found in various anthologies, magazines, and on-line. He is currently at work on his first novel.

Joseph Baneth Allen grew up in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He was also mistaken once for an international antique thief. An avid reader and writer, his short stories have appeared in Riding The Rails, Blood Sacraments and Wings. His nonfiction has been published in OMNI, Popular Science, Final Frontier, Astronomy, Florida Living, Dog Fancy, Pet Life, eBay magazine, and many others. He now lives with his family amongst an ever-growing collection of Big Little Books, Gold Key Comics, and G.I. Joes in Jacksonville, Florida, where he continues to write fiction and nonfiction.
