I made a mistake purchasing this book. I thought it was the source material on which the Alfred Hitchcock Presents episode, 'The Human Interest Story', was based. But when I read the book it had nothing to do with it. I was bored by the first few pages, and I think it was too much money to pay for such a ditty book.
I did like 'The Dangerous People' episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents which was adapted from Fredric Brown's short story, 'No Sanctuary', but the story itself wasn't as good as the episode. At the end of the episode you see the only black character of the story who appears as an extra with nothing to say.
I'm not sure I would call Fredric Brown a good writer.
