    I have just finished rereading all Susan Kinard's books that I have ( I have them all ) and this is one of the best. It contains great love, mystery, murder and fantastic insight into the lives of Wolves. I also liked the inclusion of the Ojibway Indians and their beliefs. In other words if you like your romance written by an author who will give you great romance plus some new things to think about then this is the book for you. Also don't forget the rest of her books. I have yet to read a bad one and have just ordered her new one "Secret of the Wolf". I can hardly wait!

    What would you do if you were a researcher studying wolves and found wolf that was poisoned and turned into a man? Alexandra tries to help Kiernan find control and prove he is innocent of murder. She knows him from their childhood when she knew him as a wolf she called Shadow.

    So cool. Very detailed. You get drawn in and sucked in until the end. Loved Alex. How we were given that beginning intro to see how she was and the magic of childhood and her love of wolves. Kieran is awesome both as a make and wolf. So giving and protective. Always needing Alex.
