From the Author

Mr. Wassner has always been an avid reader and a writer of poetry for many years. His first full length novel, GemQuest; The Twins, was published in May of 2000. Subsequently, he has completed GemQuest; The Awakening, GemQuest; The Shards, and most recently, Book IV, GemQuest; The Revenge of the Elves. He is now writing book V, GemQuest; When Montsers Call Out The Names Of Men.

Late last year, he wrote the first book in an anticipated series of children's mysteries for the 8 to 12 year old market. It will be released in 2006 by Mondo Publishing in New York. Since then, he has completed the next two books in that series. Early in 2004, he wrote three books in a fantasy series designed for a young reader, 6 to 9 years of age, and most recently, he completed a sci-fi thriller for the 8 to 12 year old market.

In addition to being a force in the fashion industry, he is a well respected fiction writer and children's book author. His GemQuest series, The Twins, The Awakening, The Shards and The Revenge of the Elves is popular among sci-fi and fantasy readers. The fifth and final book in the GemQuest series, When Monsters Call Out The Names of Men, will be released the second half of 2013. One of his children's books, The Mystery of the Jubilee Emerald published by Mondo Publishing, is available everywhere. The second two books in that series were published in January of 2013, The Candle Rock Mystery and The Mystery of the Presidential Papers. Last year he published Isabella Cucharella, Fashion Designer Extraordinaire, a picture book for budding young fashion stars, 50% of the proceeds of which he donated to the CFDA Fashion Incubator.

Wassner resides in New York with his wife Cathy and his extended family.

    Again the story continues with the twins in the back round, all other characters carrying the story forward. So well developed world, style of writing smooth that makes the world pop out at you. The author leaves us hanging again.

    I love the series but the author will not finish the last book. As a reader I want an ending, I think 8-9 years is long enough to have finished the last book.
