- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 November 2018An old style read, obviously dated and with a different perspective but an ok read nevertheless. More errors in transposing than some others but ok
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 November 2015Many years ago my brother-in-law and I used to read various Sci-Fi novels by Vargo Statten and Volsted Gridban, and used to discuss which author we liked the best. It was only later we learned these were pseudonyms of John Russel Fearn, one of the most prolific writers of the genre. This collection of Golden Age stories is great, some better than others but all very enjoyable. At Kindle price of £0.71 a real bargain

5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth the purchase price!
99 cents for about 25 books. A real bargain for anyone interested in reading old science fiction novels. Great fun to see how they thought it would be like in the 21st century and beyond. A bargain at many times the price! I purchased all of the series and am enjoying them immensely!

3.0 out of 5 stars Nouvelles de SF des années 50.

3.0 out of 5 stars These stories aren't as bad as the other reviewer made out
These stories aren't as bad as the other reviewer made out. They are, however, written in a style that has long been out of fashion and can be a little hard to wade through. This anthology may not stack up against modern authors, but if you're a fan of of early, pulp science fiction then this book is worth a look.

1.0 out of 5 stars don't waste your .91 cents
Nostalgic fiction is one thing, poorly written drek is another... This definitely falls into the latter category, it's horrible. And the only thing worse than the prose is the proof reading, multiple mistakes on every page. Just move along, there's nothing to see here.
