#Crayola recently hosted a policy hearing led by Pennsylvania State Representative Ann Flood. A dozen state legislators joined for a discussion about supporting families and students across the region by improving affordability. The conversation focused on House Bill 1596, which proposes an annual back‑to‑school sales tax break. Parents, educators, and community leaders shared perspectives on the financial challenges many families face when preparing for the school year. Following the hearing, legislators toured our manufacturing operations to see the people, processes, and technology behind our crayon and marker production.
