D.H. Lawrence Review
The D.H. Lawrence Review
is published bi-annually as an
international forum for criticism,
scholarship, review, and bibliography
related to the
work of the British writer D.H. Lawrence and his circle.
The DHLR
publishes scholarly work by both younger critics and
established scholars. The essays appearing
in the journal explore the many ways in
which Lawrence illuminates and challenges
his readers.

We are about to go to press with
the latest issue of the journal--42.1 and 42.2--a double
issue. Also we
are pleased to announce that the
D. H. Lawrence Review
now has been launched on JSTOR, the on-line global
academic resource. You may see the journal’s
entire fifty-year trove of articles here:

Needless to say, this is a
milestone in the history of the journal and the
happy result of a process
that Eleanor Green and Richard Kaye initiated more than
a year and a half ago.

Vol. 41.2 is published and in the
mail.
Articles are listed on the Current Issue page.
* Beginning
in Summer 2018, the D.H. Lawrence Review will
begin a formal affiliation with JSTOR, the digital
scholarly library. The journal will continue to
publish a print edition. With the arrangement that
the journal has established with JSTOR, there will be a
“moving wall” of one year. The moving wall is the
gap between the most recent issue of the journal and the
date of the most recent issues available through JSTOR.
Subscribers to JSTOR thus will have access to all back
issues of the D.H. Lawrence Review with the
exception of a current year’s previous issues. The
journal is also considering establishing a mechanism by
which JSTOR can provide access to individual subscribers
who do not have institutional access.

Issue 41.1 has been mailed out.
It is a special issue focusing on "Texts and Contexts."

* The Journal is
under a new editorship beginning in 2017: Richard Kaye of
Hunter College and the Graduate Center of the City University of
New York (CUNY) will be assuming the role. The journal's
editorial offices will now be located at Hunter College and the
CUNY Graduate Center. We would like to thank our out-going
editor, Eleanor Green, for her many years of dedicated service
to Lawrentian Studies and congratulate her on receiving the
DHLSNA Extraordinary Service Award.
* The DHLR website
will be getting a much needed face-lift over the next few
months. Please note that the News items will now be placed
on the Homepage for easier access.
