It's good you're taking time for you and the game and really responsible to explain why and how. I hope it will work out as you want. 

As a player of so many games, I'll just say : I understand every decisions but you should know about the devlogs, players are actually reassured when they have news even if it's news to say nothing or almost nothing. It will be probably difficult at least at the beginning to give so many news but on the long term I think it would be good to have even three lines on how you're doing (it could be very vague and how you're personnaly doing or just a 'we're still around' or 'just finishing reading a chapter or the script of this character' etc). 

I swear I'm not trying to pressure you or anything ! I just wanted to emphase how important 3 lines even very vague every 3 months could help the readers and even you (with the support of the readers in the comments) to stay focus and hype on the game.

I couldn't open the mac version of the game. I click it jumps twice and disappears. Is anyone experiencing the same issue ?

Don't worry, we could have waited more and it could have been normal until the 14th.

I could download the mac version without any issues and it works ! I'm gonna play it later in the day and I'll come back in the general comments ~.

Gaming is a safe place where you can like as many red flags as you wish and it’s great as long you have a discerning eye IRL. We all know some people really like the mysterious character in some game where you don’t get any info and when he is 50% of time a red flag. So no, no worries, game is fun just be careful people in real life (and be as free as you want in games !). 

I totally did not see more of his dialogues and echoes but him having a CG, echoes and maybe not a totally bad side when rescuing Lucas eh you can hope. I’ll try to get everything to have more clues on his future. And I’ll cross my fingers during that time.

Plus with the right or wrong angle you can see everything as a relationship with some toxicity or maybe really cute. In his way Diego is red flag with his past and tattoos (not saying he is one but you could imagine he is one), same for our dear best friend so much lost in his grief and thinking he is rightful he ignore his best friend and coach hurting him and diminishing his worth (again do you see him that way or are you just seeing someone you love hurting so much they also lost their way and you’ll be there for them or the reason why they’ll find it again ?). And it could be easy to make a list for every character that’s why it’s interesting to see and hear everyone without judging before they act. I can’t wait to see their evolutions ~.

Patreon folks gave you the right advice, as creators should write and create what they want and what is fun to make for them. After all they came with the first idea on the game and we, players, like it so the best we can do is say I like this one, this dynamic or maybe give advices when the creator have questions. We’re not entitled to anything, we’re just here to enjoy the ride (and the game, definitely the game) !

Got it ~ ! We’ll see with the next versions what becomes of every characters and your plans for them ~. Just remember to have fun as much as the players or even more !

I really like this game and the characters. After playing different paths I have to say I'm really curious about Adrian. I totally missed his cg on my first plays. And I got none of his echoes (so if anyone have a tip, I probably missed an obvious choice I'll retry later).

So my questions are : will we see him more ? And will he be one of the interests (let me hope even though it's probably a bad idea ~) ?

I really liked Lucas too, I think he is a nice new addition. I'm curious to see the dynamics in the new team, especially if we can be the coach of 4 fighters (I saw it will be in season 2). 

You're welcome ! I did not know the old game so I never played it until well... the download and when my curiosity just couldn't stop playing the episodes ah, ah, ah ! Come on who sees a door open and don't go see the room ? I definitely shouldn't be in an horror movie. 

But sure if you're interested I can tell you what I noticed or thought about the episodes retyped and the older. There was actually a cut between the first 2 and the others. It's not the same rythm. The cliffhanger was good, at least that was my feeling. Overall after reading all the episodes I thought the MC fell really fast. I had suspicions on him and he actually succeeded in making me lower my guard but then cold shower after all he is in the mobs. Welcome to reality sweetie ! The reactions of MC was a little long but well everyons reacts differently and I think maybe his golden retriever style made the cold shower even more shocking  for some people so there is an explanation. But let's hope the reactions won't be the same in every route, 'specially for the one clearly being mob from the begining.

I definitely wanna see Donovan (and I have big suspicions Neil is a big mess too ! Imagine the reactions of players if Gerald is the one less messy !!). Great to know he is the one leading the poll. It could me nice to have a post about who is leading the poll and future polls to make readers more invested ! Maybe a post just for "older players" even though we don't know when they'll post. Or you could ask in a new poll the percentage of new and old players (if you have 100% new players it would be hard to find someone to discuss the before/after).

For the expression "in a lather" I searched and got nothing at the time, and after translating lather it was weird, then I tried today just by adding expression in my search and tada ! With a meaning having much more sens than the one I gote the first time translating just the word ah, ah !

I'll try again with the next mac version and tell you if the misaligned faces still happen (it would be great for an horror game actually). It could already be fixed, just like it could be only on one version of the OS. The joy of computers.

Anyway I'm really curious to know more about Donovan, it sounds like his story will be really fun ! We'll see in the next upload ~.

So I started with Donnovan because I planned to play strategically -> It’s easier to go around the rules with a cop in your pocket right ? Loved his first reaction being such a real no ah, ah, ah. And the warning from MC’s uncle was so telling for the rest of the story, we really need to be careful on this route.

For Vince I thought he was the most safe and at the same time I wanted to keep an eye on him. Will he really not take the business from us ? His different reactions to our choices was interesting and at the same time, not sure we really like the implications when we ask him about the investigation. Is it what he thinks about MC or is he just really worried about Mc’s uncle ? Bit at least there is loyalty to the Uncle and to the business. Real nice cliffhanger before the next chapter !

One little problem and not one actually : in episode 1 when they are in the car there are 2 lines one on the other and the two begin with : Couldn’t find file… But it gives no problem since it’s purple on purple so almost not visible and we actually have a background, it’s not all black. I’m not sure it’s something that should be fixed.

Gerald or Gerry loved the mysterious atmosphere and learning little clues around. It was really nice to see the other boys so relaxed and learning more about what they did day 1 than what they are telling on their own route. I have to say it’s probably one of the more spoilers route but I’m really hooked, the pace was really nice.

One thing : The girl (Bea) Elliot introduced to us has the face really low. Like the lips on the neck and eyes around there the nose should be. It was weird to see especially when she is describes as attractive. And when we have a zoom on her face it’s all on the left on the background. Same problem with Lynch’s face being all on the left when we’re talking.

Another one on Gerry’s route : Couldn’t find file ‘Background/mansion_ballromm_day_v1.jpg’ so the background at the end of the episode is all black.

I ended up with Cliff because he has the more chapters. Wait ? Mabel ? Will we meet Mabel ? I’m not gonna say more because… There were a lot more chapters than what I thought. I got until epilogue 3 and I don’t want to spoil accidentally.

One thing : in episode 1 after the first choice when arriving at the bar Cliff and Andrew are superposing. Then when they are still one over the other Andrew lost his hat. Then in episode 2 at the amusement park after the choice there is a moment when Cliff’s hat disappears too before reappearing. Pretty funny ~.

The only typo I saw in the game so bravo at the end of the conversation with Leslie (episode 4) : T’ll send you another letter… 

In episode 7 after choice when talking with Cliff : Image ‘sad’ not found.

The number 2 typo in episode 10 : ”Nobody gave a rat if we was happy or not.” It’s were. 

2 typos in epilogue 3, I’m not sure it’s typos : qunnin’ for gunnin’ is my guess & the other lathe instead of lather.

Funny how our MC next morning is not wearing the same thing, it’s easy for players to get deeper in the stories. I loved the little things you learn about other characters in every route. It made me really curious about some and wary about others. I’m curious to read more and discover more about them and the universe.

I tried to play the web version but you can't choose the route, you have only the prologue. Is it a bug or is it volontary (jsut asking to be sure there is no issue anywhere) ?

I plan to play all the routes before coming back with feedback ~. I go back continuing to play ~.

So happy to be able to play the chapter one the web version ! (having a mac it was pretty difficult for the downloadable versions, I even had a bug to find the page of the game for the appk version but I got it by a search navigation).

I tried to play the new demo but it didn't work.

 I'm talking about the mac version, when I double-click to open the second time it pop "Impossible to open this application.".

The old mac demo still works perfectly and can be opened. 

Am I the only one with this problem on mac ? Do you know how to fix this ? T_T

Personnally I'll wait for the game and the final version of the DLC if there is one before buying but it looks great ~.

I was a little surprised to see 0 option to give up on the Plan A (see the title for the one curious) but I guess it's the beginning. We have to know more before making that kind of decisions. 

I'm also curious to see more about the negative and positive influence. I got tricked while trying to stay in character and picking one of those. It's funny to see the differences (specially for Vitale I was really attentive to the details).

As a reader/player of a lot of works be it text based games or even novels, I always feel a dread when creators want to remaster or rewrite. 

Some times it can bring great results and some other times it's even difficult to see the differences and months, even years, can be lost on a work.

But I actually understand the feeling of growing or becoming more skilled in writing and sensing a disrepancy between the first acts of a work and the lasts.

So my advice is to finish your work, not because I absolutely want to it to be finished but because between today and the day of the "last line" your writing skill will grow. If you think you need to remaster the beginning wait until you're sure it will give the same feeling reading/playing from beginning to end.

Personnaly I think it can be fun immersing yourself in the game more and more as the author grow, the player follows. The want for a polished work is totally understandable and it can be a source of pride.

In the end you need to do what is best for you and your work. We, the players, will support you. Your game is amazing, have no doubt.

The itch app (I have to say I had no idea it even existed) works. It's a pain since when you decide to click on launch in the app it doesn't work, you have to actually go to the place where you downloaded the game, to click on the icon of the game and then for like 15 times click on the "accept to authorize the game to acceed to...." place where you decided to put the game. Then it finally launch !!!

I'm tired ah, ah, ah. I hope it can help people facing the same problem.

I'll try the demo 1st August on itch.io, on the itch app and on Steam and tell which one is better. I did not try Steam this time but it seems easier than the itch app (not having to click 15 times on an authorization). But I'll try and tell you later !

I can't play the updated demo (mac version). The old one works perfectly but I can't launch the game with the new one. It jumps twice and then close. 

It's a new problem I get with games on itch.io I guess there is something somewhere with code or even itch.io who just blocks. I know some developpers succeeds in fixing the bug but I don't know how (so I can't help unfortunately). I hope you'll be able to, I loved the first demo and can't wait to play the new one ! *-*

I tested it, it works perfectly on Steam thanks to the Key.

No idea why the itch.io download causes such problems ?

I just bought the game and the mac versions (all ages & adult I checked) does not lauch. 

I see the icon of the game jumping twice and then disappears.

In comparison, the demo version works perfectly.

Is anyone having the same problem ? >< Since I just bought it I obviously want to play soon but I get it can need time if there is a bug somewhere so I'll wait.

I had a lot of fun playing the demo ! 

You really get in the story thanks to the many details placed in the game (like a really detailled authopsy report) and the way little by little the player understand at the same time as MC who could be the body found. It was realistic.

I'm not sure about the lieutnant attitude but it was fun to read.

The other characters are interesting, still shrouded in enough mysteries to make us curious and still being presented. Since I had a doubt about RO potentials at the time I played the demo I was a little (definitely more than a little) about some RO but well they ARE the suspects. 

Actually ALL characters are suspicious in their own way so I think it's gonna be really fun to play the investigation part in the long way !

Lyanna and Hugo are the ones supposed to help but imagine if it was a scheme and they are the guilty ones ? Yes, I'm hyped to this point and everyone, everyone is a suspect. (I did say that before, no ? Yes definitely but I dare other players to already cross some of the list.)

Plus, let's be honest the three ROs look great. Yofiel is the one who hyped me more because the meeting was so short. But all meetings were short. Alexander looks like a good suspect and tricks ? Sly ? Ah, ah, ah I defintely want to win the Game. Gaspar is probably the one who could find the faster who MC really is, no ? He is dangerous (probably at many levels but definitely for the investigation).

The demo really excited me for the game so I have big hopes for what will happen next. Thanks for the demo !

I'm glad to learn the Mac build will exist one day ! Some developpers give up the Mac build if it doesn't work immediately so I'm really happy to know you won't give up !!
