Dear friends - In these fateful moments that we live together, we need you to stand by us so that we can rebuild our lives again and return home. Your support will be a real support in the journey of recovery and reviving what the days have destroyed, in addition to completing our digital journey here. Every contribution, no matter how simple, makes a big difference and gives us hope to continue on the path. We trust you and thank you for all the support and giving you provide.
Note: Time is of the essence Special for supporters of the Ashour family blog
Friends, this is my new Tumblr account. Tumblr deleted my main account. I hope you can talk to me here... I can't imagine not being able to communicate with you because messages are closed.

israel bombed another hospital in gaza. this did not get the same coverage or reaction that the bombing of the first hospital in gaza received. i feel like this is because this cruelty and inhumanity has become normal.

what does the normalisation of a hospital bombing say about our world? i don't think that the cruelty and suffering faced by people in gaza should silently be accepted by everyone.

i think that all of us should be doing all that we can to support the people in gaza. we have ways to help a population undergoing a genocide, it's best to use those.

so please have heart and consider helping a family with two young children survive this genocide. every tiny bit helps. their fundraiser is verified.

As ceasefire negotiations continue, let's internalize the fact that it always comes down to this: the only thing that gets the United States to relent, if even slightly, from its commitment to imperialism, is when it becomes too costly to maintain.

Not the countless lives lost, not the destruction of infrastructure, not the senseless violence. It always comes down to whether it's more profitable or not to continue.

I hope nobody has any lingering ideas about imperialism having a "conscience" or that it may let up if it is simply convinced that it is doing harm. There are no misunderstandings. They know what they are doing, and have no problem with it. Only when it's too expensive.

Until the machine finishes crunching the numbers and deciding how many more bombs are within its budget, Amal @amalashuor is watching her baby daughter grow up with little food, no shelter, and severe psychological distress. This has been going on so long that soon enough it'll be time for her education, and Gaza is left without operating schools. Please help this heartbroken mother and her baby out. Giant Honey Bees

@alucard007 This is called shimmering or defense waving. They raise their abdomens in a synchronized way to deter predators. I would have to assume it makes them look like one big organism rather than many small that could easily be picked off.

How can I contribute to thwarting the displacement plan?

During the genocide they carried out, the occupation deliberately and extensively destroyed all the foundations of life:

-Water -Electricity -Hospitals -Schools -Homes -Sewage networks -Streets -Communications

The primary goal was (to make Gaza uninhabitable). After this massive destruction, you are now forced to travel and leave the immense destruction in Gaza behind, and this is called voluntary displacement.

For two reasons:

-Gaza has been completely destroyed and is uninhabitable. -Rebuilding Gaza will take at least 10 years (after the war ends; I noticed that most American newspapers were the only ones saying that rebuilding Gaza would take 40 years), and this is an attempt to achieve the primary goal, which is (migration). But it is not explicitly migration; it's travel, but long-term.

Returning to the main point of the post, how can you contribute to thwarting the displacement plans?

The only way is to support us in Gaza with all your time, money, and effort.

When you contribute, for example, to buying household necessities, providing water tanks, providing solar energy, or trying to repair partially damaged houses, you are, in this way, reducing the likelihood of achieving the primary goal of the gen.ocide we have lived through for the past 500 days.

Therefore, we are collecting donations so that we can remain steadfast in Gaza and overcome the displacement plans, and you can overcome these plans by donating to us and empowering us on the land.

The campaign only received $80 CAD this week. This means that the Abu Hamam family's total this week, including the withdrawal fee, does not exceed $40 USD!!

This is not even enough for one of our children!!!
