Frankly and briefly, the situation in Gaza cannot be written about in a mere post or expressed in a mere picture or video clip. The situation in Gaza is more like an end-of-the-world movie, but this movie is titled The End of Gaza!!

There are many, many people who no longer care about the Palestinian issue and the Gaza war, as if it has become from another world or as if we are not human beings like you.

I hope that people who have humanity and mercy will show solidarity with us, share our suffering, help us overcome these hardships, and donate to us. And for those people who want a verification mark for our campaign so they can donate to us, here is the link to verify that our campaign is real and it is number 4 on this list gazavetters

Guys, we have reached 38,500 euros, and we have 500 euros left to reach 39,000 euros. Please, please donate to me so that I can achieve this goal.

Less than 300 euros left. Please donate, guys. You are our last hope.

Please, only 274 euros separate us from our goal. Please donate to us. Please, someone donate so we can reach our goal.

Hey guys I'm really tired I haven't slept enough the last two days trying to collect donations A number of friends have donated to me Thank you to everyone who contributed, participated and donated Thanks to everyone but I have great hope in you my friends Tonight I will go to sleep in a little while Trying to rest We are still 1254 euros away from reaching our short goal I hope everyone will participate and donate so we can reach it and achieve it Tonight and thank you all and good night

i think the 60fh anniversary of doctor who would be way cooler if it focused on bringing companions together rather than doctors cos we’ve seen doctors team up a few times now. like i wanna see companions from classic and new who team up!! i wanna see companions who have never met team up! i want it to be like a “where are they now?” special but for as many companions as possible and the Doctors can make some fluffy cameos! i want martha to meet bill! i want jo grant to meet yaz! i want ace to meet clara! i want river to meet romana! i want them all to end up at this little old lady’s house for tea, not knowing who she is until she says, “it seems my grandfather is still being quite the handful” and then they fucking unionise!!!!

nothing funnier to me than the 15th doctor always being like "there was a genocide :(" when asked about the timelords because it would be like jack the ripper being asked about those women and replying, "there were a series of deaths :(" like huh okay and, just quickly, whose responsibility was that, babes??

Honestly, what’s happening in Gaza can’t be captured in a post, a photo, or even a video. We’re living a reality that feels like a film titled “The End of Gaza.” So many people have stopped paying attention, as if Gaza no longer exists, as if we’re not human like everyone else. All we ask is for those with compassion and conscience to see our suffering and help us survive this nightmare. Your donation is more than support it’s a lifeline, a chance to breathe again.

You can donate as little as $1 via PayPal or $5 via GoFundMe.

vetted here

Only $952 left to reach our goal 🙏 If 38 people donate $25 today, we can make it—and start a new chapter of hope. Help us finish strong 💔

Hey guys, I wanted to tell you about the Ihyaa' initiative. My friend Mohammed Ayesh, who's been our vetter on the ground in Ghazzah for the last year or so, wants to make a space and provide resources for University students to complete their studies in a proper learning environment, along with providing food parcels, stationary, and other essentials. You may have heard of the Isnad initiative! It's very similar to the Ihyaa' initiative but it's located elsewhere. They had to find the right room to use as a classroom for the Ihyaa' initiative and they're going to be paying rent of 2000$ for it. Mohammed Ayesh has informed me that starting on Monday this rent will begin.

University students are the foundation of a better and rebuilt Ghazzah! If you want to help Ghazzah rebuild, this is one of the first steps you can start assisting with.

400£ TO RAISE!!! WE CAN DO THIS!!

A heavy IOF assault is under way in Jabaliya. The bombing and shelling are constant and all around them. The explosions are so close that the shockwaves are interfering with Nour’s heartbeat!

The family is afraid that even if the bombs don’t kill them, the panic and shockwaves will stop 15-y/o Nour’s heart, which is already weak due to a lifelong condition.

They need to get out of this area and find relatively safer lodging ASAP!! They need $2000 usd (about $2,791 cad) to evacuate and pay rent for a safer space.

Current: $60,248

New temporary goal: $63,039 cad

Need to raise: $2,791 cad (about $2000 usd)

We have made NO PROGRESS in over 14 hours!!! PLEASE, this family needs to evacuate NOW!!!

While most people know that April is Autism Acceptance Month, I haven’t seen any acknowledgement on Tumblr that it is also PMD Awareness Month. This is especially surprising considering that premenstrual disorders seem to be significantly more common in the autistic community (as well as in people with ADHD), although more research is sorely needed.

I have premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), which is a cyclical, hormone-based mood disorder where symptoms occur during the premenstrual, or luteal, phase and disappear shortly after menstration begins. For me, it’s like a switch flips in my brain after ovulation and I turn into a whole different person. I know that I’m going to start bleeding because I wake up, the switch has flipped back, and I feel totally normal. Symptoms include irritability, mood swings, depression, anxiety, overwhelm, fatigue, sleep difficulties, and physical symptoms. While these may seem like “typical PMS that most people experience,” trust me, it absolutely is not. People with PMDD are a high risk group for suicidality and many of us make serious decisions during the luteal phase that we later regret, including quitting jobs and leaving partners. Symptoms like lashing out at others, verbally and/or physically and homicidal ideation can cause serious relationship and problems, shame, and difficulty with work and school.

PMDD is not a hormone imbalance — it is a severe negative reaction to the typical changes in hormone levels. The exact mechanism is not known (there seems to be several subtypes that respond to treatment differently but once again research is scarce), but it seems to cause an increased sensitivity to stress. It makes sense, then, that autistic people would be more likely to experience PMDD as our brains and bodies already experience and react more to stress than allistic people do.

Treatment for PMDD includes therapy, SSRIs, hormonal birth control, and, as last resorts, chemical menopause and removal of the uterus and both ovaries. Hysterectomy alone does not treat PMDD. Hopefully, some day, treatments specifically for PMDD will be developed.

Premenstrual exacerbation (PME) can occur in a wide range of of other disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, migraines, epilepsy, IBS, and PTSD, with symptoms becoming much worse during the luteal phase and is typically even less researched than PMDD. Sometimes increasing regular treatments during the luteal phase can help reduce PME.

The best place I know of for information and support is the International Association for Premenstrual Disorders. Unfortunately they are still working on getting their website back up to full functionality after being hacked earlier this year.

I totally agree with the boycotting post!

BUT, and i hope you understand this. Because i understand both sides.

For some people: the things we shouldn’t talk about, are a small source of light for some people. Even if they know they should boycott. For some people the singing contest is something they watch to support the singer. But if they don’t qualify, they stop watching. But they will actively talk about Gaza, about all conflicts and try to donate.

There are people who watch a Marvel movie, or the zombie series, to support the one or two actors who DO support Palestine and other rights. They might know fully well that the big companies don’t. But for the few actors they will. Or simply because the game was a passion.

Some people cannot donate, be it because they cannot afford to, or be it because someone else handles their money, or just because they are children and cannot donate because underage and parents cannot donate for reasons.

I fully understand both sides. One cannot simply curse another for “not doing enough” in their eyes, while the person does what they can. Sometimes someones bare minimum is someone’s 100% because of other reasons they cannot give more, even if they want to. And I will admit. Even I cannot do more than what I already do. And that might also be ones: bare minimum or 50%. No one is flawless.

I know people that don’t trust donation sites simply because they had a bad experience where a company kept the money when it should have been given to what it was meant for… but those people will happily give clothes (brand new), furniture, animal food and human food to those who need it.

(And believe it or not. But some people who need those things actually refuse because they want money.)

So please be kind to one another. The world is already a dark place. We don’t need to make it worse by being so frustrated and reacting it on someone else. People do what they can. Some can do more than others. We are fortunate and privileged to be able to help those around us. Some cannot and that is okay. Because that is mostly out of their control.

I hope you enjoy your day, might you be able to help wherever you can!

Ps: If you want to be angry at those who don’t do anything: look at the really rich upperclass. But even there, there may be people doing the right thing.

But as they say: there are so many bad apples, it is often difficult to find a good one.

???? so...."be kind to each other" doesn't include actually making an effort to do anything or help anyone in a way that jeopardizes your personal comfort, even if it doesn't financially cost you anything. got it! thank you for this totally amazing and not at all useless colonial ass take

As ceasefire negotiations continue, let's internalize the fact that it always comes down to this: the only thing that gets the United States to relent, if even slightly, from its commitment to imperialism, is when it becomes too costly to maintain.

Not the countless lives lost, not the destruction of infrastructure, not the senseless violence. It always comes down to whether it's more profitable or not to continue.

I hope nobody has any lingering ideas about imperialism having a "conscience" or that it may let up if it is simply convinced that it is doing harm. There are no misunderstandings. They know what they are doing, and have no problem with it. Only when it's too expensive.

Until the machine finishes crunching the numbers and deciding how many more bombs are within its budget, Amal @amalashuor is watching her baby daughter grow up with little food, no shelter, and severe psychological distress. This has been going on so long that soon enough it'll be time for her education, and Gaza is left without operating schools. Please help this heartbroken mother and her baby out. Personally I hate AI because it uses slave labor, is killing the planet and is making people stupid, but that's just me. The soulless art aspect is just one little piece of my grander disdain.
