It's a place where the living reside, but they're dead! They're doomed to die, either quickly through direct targeting or slowly due to the absence of vitality in their city

Wherever you turn, you find nothing but death, displacement, homelessness, destruction, hunger, thirst, ignorance, disease, and rampant infection.

It's my city! It was fully with life until the butchers passed through it! Since the beginning of the massacres, I've been struggling to save myself and my family.

I am Mohammed from Gaza I’m sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.

a 31-year-old living amidst the war in Gaza, a place deeply affected by conflict and hardship. I hold a Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences , I graduated with very good But Unfortunately, I did not get a job opportunity.

Before the outbreak of war, my family and I had a comfortable life in our beautiful home filled with cherished memories. However, since the conflict began, our lives have been turned upside down. We now find ourselves living in a small tent, exposed to the harsh elements and constant threat of violence.

👉Our house was bombed in the 2008 escalation and we built it, and also in the 2014 escalation the house was destroyed again and we rebuilt it, and in this 2023/2024 war the house was also destroyed.

Every time we start again, the Israeli occupation destroys us again

Life is unbearable. It has become hell for us. destruction, no education, no future

We can't stand it anymore

The situation here is dire. Food and basic necessities are scarce, and famine and malnutrition have become rampant. Our lives are hanging by a thread, and we fear for the safety and well-being of our children every single day.

The cost of living here has become extremely high. All of our resources are going towards securing food and trying to escape from disaster, desperately seeking a lifeline.

We are yearning to escape this nightmare and rebuild our lives in a safe place.

However, the cost of traveling to a safer area was beyond our means.

Each ticket cost $5000 per person,

a sum that was impossible for us to bear. Now, the border crossing is closed, and things continue to worsen.

We want to collect donations to leave Gaza if the crossing opens

ahmed and his family including his two year old girl named ghada are living in gaza and need funds to evacuate.

ahmed and his family live in a small tent, these tents are incredibly horrible to live in. as they can’t handle weather like rain, and a bunch of small creatures like bugs are able to get into their tent. and if their tent breaks, they’re also very expensive.

ghada needs food and health care, but because of the bombings. ahmed can’t get the proper care for her. so, they need funds to evacuate!

One thing I really appreciate about my therapist is that she stopped asking me a long time ago, “and do you think that [anxious thought] is rational?”

Because she knows. She knows I grew up in and escaped a high control group (cult) before. She knows that when I’m noticing things other people are scoffing at, I’m the canary in the coal mine beating my wings to try and escape the cage before I get dragged under by the people around me who are refusing to see the signs. My name is Aya, I'm 29 years old. I'm married to Jihad, who is 32, and we have three beautiful children: Abdelrahman (7 years old), Jori (5 years old), and Adam (2 years old). We live in the northern part of Gaza.

Abdelrahman, Adam, and Jori are the heartbeat of my heart and the light of my life.

Abdelrahman: the lion of the house, the helpful and loving boy to his siblings and family.

Since the onset of the latest war in Gaza, our home has been completely destroyed, forcing us into displacement. We’ve had to move more than thirteen times in search of safety. Additionally, we were exposed to numerous contagious diseases and dangerous epidemics.

Before: This is our home, our dream, and our promising future.

My children have to travel long distances just to get water and stand in line for hours to get food. Their mental health has been shattered by the war, their education has come to a halt, and they have suffered from catastrophic hunger that almost claimed their lives.

After: This is our home, built with our sweat and effort, and it has been completely destroyed.

hey guys, i have some good news!!

remember my friend @aburakhiaibrahim? he's just told me that his sister samah, who lives in canada, applied for family reunification and was approved! this means that ibrahim and his family can now go join her in canada. she's also the one running his fundraiser campaign, by the way!

however, there's an issue -- to go to canada, to samah and to safety, ibrahim and his family need to reach egypt first. and we all know that crossing the border into egypt is no easy feat, especially when you consider the exorbitant amount of money they require.

ibrahim and his family have lost everything - their family, home, livelihoods. this is the one chance they have to making it to safety. their goal is $30k CAD, but they're only at around $13k at the time of writing this post. not even halfway. he's reached out to me and i promised to do my best to help, which is why i'm writing this. he's my friend and i want nothing more than for him and his family to be safe.

Inas (@inasimad41) is currently pregnant for the first time and is experiencing a difficult pregnancy. Her doctor told her she will need to inject medicine regularly to carry her baby to term, but with the genocide in Gaza, Inas has not been able to afford the syringes and medication she needs!
