♻️ I give blanket permission to create works inspired by my writing and art, including but not limited to fics, visual art, podfics, bookbinding, and translations. I just ask that you let me know about it and link back to my original work. If it's on AO3, please list it as a related work. Similarly, feel free to use my art for small avatars/icons/etc., but please credit me. If you wish to use my art in larger images like banners or headers, please ask. I do not give permission to repost or copy my work to other sites, or to share it anywhere, including Discord, without credit.

🏷️ I'm absolutely terrible about checking my notes, so I apologize if I miss a reblog in which you replied to me. I'll only see something like that if I'm tagged. 😅

🌶️ I reblog nsfw stuff sometimes, so keep that in mind if you follow me. You're responsible for your own internet experience.

not to be maya on side but please do not call someone or something “mayan” when talking about our people, culture, etc. “mayan” refers to our language family (a language FAMILY, in which there are plenty of unique languages). we are the maya, not the mayans. i am maya, not mayan. it is the indigenous maya community, not the indigenous mayan community.

you can reblog this 😔

We are losing nearly ten percent of the planet’s insect population every decade due to human influence. If you have taken even an entry level biology course you understand how terrifying that figure is for not just humans but all life on Earth. As EO Wilson put it,

“If all mankind were to disappear, the world would regenerate back to the rich state of equilibrium that existed ten thousand years ago. If insects were to vanish, the environment would collapse into chaos”

Even despite the urgency of this issue, there are few conservation initiatives focused solely on preserving invertebrates. The Xerces Society is one such organization! If you share my concern about insect population decline (and you are able to do so), please consider donating to their current fundraiser to help protect our most vulnerable neighbors. They are still short of their fundraising goal!
