I just made a black hole move at nothing and have no mass and if the sun moved even a single kilometer it would be completely absorbed and after 0.3 of a mercury orbit Jupiter adn saturn lifted the sun slightly vertically and killed it and caused every planet to orbit jupiter then scatter eventually. peak game.

(+1)

I just blew the sun up, and im not mad about it. Great work man honestly

Really fun game, absolutely amazing, the music is my second favourite part other than the customization of course.

Adoro o Jogo uma pena que o surporte da web chegou ao fim :(

This is the best game i've played in a long tim

(+3)

YO THIS ACTUALLY GETS RECOMMENDED ON THE FRONT PAGE. CONGRATS DUDE! HOPE YOU ARE DOING WELL!

I also had this bug with mass in tutor. Every time

Very cool game

Oh, shit, I never fixed this on demo version I'm sorry!

I love your game—just watching the stars interact with each other is already really fascinating. By the way, have you considered releasing a Simplified Chinese version? I’d be happy to help with the translation if you’re open to it. If so, I’ll send you a DM on Discord :)

This is an amazing simulation, trust me I'm a complete sucker for these games! I will say, if you needed a debugging, the temperature scale increases regardless of whether I hold it to the right or the left of the centre. But otherwise, I love it

I know this might not be a thing you would like to do, but if you would like to play a way more polished version, I recommend trying it on Google Play

Sorry I never saw this. I would love to!!

Super Super cool, but how do i add rings and custom clouds?

I got kinda sad when I saw TON 618 but it did absolutely NOTHING. It can't be put in the simulation, even an empty sandbox one :(

Dude this us the best space game for mobile ive come across ever i think its pretty much a mobile universe sandbox and keep up your amazing work

If you're coming from the Google Play version, Thanks but if you are not, you should install it from there because Itch.io is out of support

Im playing on google play

Made in Heaven.

BEST GAME EVER

(+1)

Agree

(+1)

This is so cool, is it free on Steam?

(+1)(-1)

No it will be 5$ but will have like hundreds of more features

Completely fair, just thought I would ask.

(+1)

i'm trying to play on Linux but it keeps saying that the .pck file is missing and i can't find one anywhere

(+1)

Fixed

Tysm

(+1)

tôi nghĩ là tôi khá thích nó đấy

(+2)

I don't know a ton about planets, so I could very well be wrong, but I think the sun's data is wrong? In-game it says it has a density of 411.63 g/cm3, but wikipedia says it's closer to 1.408 g/cm3.  I think it's mass should also probably be 1 M rather than 0.1669 M

What an amateur developer. I expect this to be remedied very soon.

(+2)

I also get bug in tutorial with mass on first planet :( Webplayer

(+1)

you forgot to embed pck

(+1)

It is embedded it's just that it does not want to work on most Linux distros. Try running the windows version with compatibility layer like wine

(1 edit) (+2)

hey a bit of a bug, during the tutoral, when i edit the mass it doesnt move on

(+1)

This bug has been in the game for a while but I still can't see where the problem is because it only happens every like 100 tries

(+1)

ok thanks

(+1)

why is europa called europe

(+1)

Will be fixed in the next update.

(+1)

I little bit crash it, but still love it

The coolest game i've ever played

(+1)

I think the game is really cool, what if you added a feature where the planet look actually changes based on what you do to it? like if you put earth too close to the sun the planet will burn over time and turn black

(+1)

Download the game. The change you want has been there for 2 weeks

(+1)

Attempting to run the linux executable (snapshot 1w16) on EndeavourOS (Arch Linux) results in this output and fails to launch the game.

me@my-computer $ ./Solar\ Sandbox.x86_64
ERROR: The MD5 sum of the decrypted file does not match the expected value. It could be that the file is corrupt, or that the provided decryption key is invalid.
   at: open_and_parse (core/io/file_access_encrypted.cpp:113)
ERROR: Can't open encrypted pack directory.
   at: try_open_pack (core/io/file_access_pack.cpp:304)
Error: Couldn't load project data at path ".". Is the .pck file missing?
If you've renamed the executable, the associated .pck file should also be renamed to match the executable's name (without the extension).

So… missing some other files?

r.i.p web version

(1 edit) (+1)

Practically a fun and cool game to play when you're bored
(Edit: I'll give this a 10/10, It couldn't get any hate)

(+1)

im not any kind of cientific but its kinda impresive, i made a black hole colapse against an alpha centauri and it run like super fast, then i start putting random moons and planets around the black hole in movement and it was like, pretty colours

(+1)

it is very laggy on web.  maybe you could fix that?

(+1)

What are you playing on? Because I can run this on a intel celeron n4000 (26 fps in web)

For me its very smooth... :D (Playing on 9600x)

(+1)

really cool & it reminds me of universe sandbox ²! a spanish translation option would be nice though :D

(+1)

I placed two black holes and it crashed hahahhahahahahahhahaahaa

nah fr this is rly fun

Agree, it is a fun and cool game to play when bored

(1 edit) (+1)

please add like physical changes to the planets like make them have oceans when theres more water vapor and ammonia oceans when there is more ammonia in the atmosphere i know it might be a big ask though

(+1)

Been working on a system for about a week but it needs a lot of hight maps so it will take a long time but next update will be great

epic i will be enjoying playing this thank you.

youre a goat totoriel

I might be late but the update has been up for a few days download it because the web version can't support it

Hey uhhhh discord link has expired or something, could you renew the discord link or give it to me? I want to join the server and I want to support!

Well Discord lied to me lol

https://discord.gg/zwKeS7Q6Hx

(+3)

What you need is an epic planet explosion crashing into each other.  L like what they show in those science Documentaries of what happened planets crash into each other. Then this well be a really good solar sandbox

Rage bait?

It's probably ragebait

In all honesty it would be cool if we were told to make our own universe from pure nothingness as if we were making it from the big bang itself

(+2)

Bug: the tutorial pop up never goes away, even after following the instructions

it happened to me as well!
