In Rongú, every fight moves to the rhythm of music. Every strike, dodge, and combo must be executed in sync with the beat. The better you align your movements, the more powerful your actions become.

But Rongú goes beyond combat. As you progress, you discover the richness of Afro-Ecuadorian culture—its roots, rhythms, and traditions. Every environment, character, and melody is inspired by the sounds of marimbas, drums, and ancestral chants of the Afro-descendant communities.

Playing Rongú not only challenges your sense of rhythm, but also connects you with a living, vibrant part of Ecuador: Afro-Ecuadorian heritage, its history of resistance, and its deep bond with music as a form of expression and power.

CHARACTERS

THE DUENDE A mischievous creature from Andean folklore. Though it may seem harmless, it masters the secrets of natural rhythm.

RONGÚ The protagonist of this story. A warrior of rhythm and heir to a forgotten tradition, he must recover the music stolen by dark forces.

MECHANICS

Chain combos by maintaining perfect synchronization with the melody.

Master the rhythm, master the battle: lose the beat, and your attacks will fail.

In Rongú, music is your weapon.
