Hello friend,

This is amy submission for Fix Your Hearts or Die: David Lynch Game Jam 2, and is an experience about  a birthday for someone you haven’t seen in a very long time.

You and the other regulars of this old diner sit at the counter, drinking coffee gone cold. Each of you is sure you know who the party is really for, but nobody dares say it out loud.

Instead, you talk around it.

You feed the jukebox tiny scraps of memory.

The songs, and the short scenes between them, slowly stitch together the story this place will keep.

What kind of game is this?

  • A GMless, one‑session tabletop story game for 2–5 players
  • About 120 minutes, including setup and epilogue
  • Inspired by the marvellous worlds of David Lynch

You’ll play regulars in a roadside American diner on the wrong end of the night. Scenes are short and focused: awkward toasts, old arguments, strange coincidences, and songs that land a little too perfectly. By the end of the night, when the jukebox is opened, you’ll see which memories the diner has decided to remember, and which versions of the truth get left behind.

I'll do my best to keep my eye on the doughnut, not on the hole, while I am waiting for you, David.
