No info yet (2017)

Nothing is known or rumored beyond the teaser? It just mentions the two chapters and seems to imply that Bumblebee will play a role in chapter 1. Any rumors, leaks, or other info that just isn't reliable enough? Cosmos1 (talk) 20:54, 10 October 2017 (EDT)

Teaser image (2017)

This article has an image of some of the characters - should they be included in the main TFwiki article? http://comicbook.com/tv-shows/2017/10/14/transformers-cyberverse-animated-first-look/1 DoctorWhoFan (talk) 13:44, 01 November 2017 (GMT)

safe to assume if it's a sequel or not?

I think it might be it's own thing, given the cast.

Just tossing my hat in.

Also, when are we getting an airdate?Femtransfan (talk) 15:32, 20 April 2018 (EDT)

There's no firm evidence either way, so it's too early to make any sort of call. Nor has there been any word on the release date or when we might get one. Best to be patient for now. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 15:39, 20 April 2018 (EDT)

Instagram link in References

The link seems to be broken, for me at least. --flicky1991 13:32, 24 June 2018 (EDT)

It looks like the Instagram post was deleted, yeah. --abates (talk) 16:40, 24 June 2018 (EDT)

More characters?

Hasbro's website updated with a new page on the Cyberverse cartoon, revealing more characters. Shall these characters be added to the list by an admin? notirishman (talk) 20:00, 3 July 2018 (EDT)

Indeed! --abates (talk) 20:07, 3 July 2018 (EDT)
Given pages have begun to be created, perhaps the page can be unlocked now? - TBR (talk) 22:18, 4 July 2018 (EDT)

Character Links

Some of the characters already have their own pages. Can an admin please add links to all of the characters? notirishman (talk) 11:46, 19 July 2018 (EDT)

Yeah, it's past time for the "list of names not linked to any articles" thing to end. The articles are going up. --KilMichaelMcC (talk) 12:48, 24 July 2018 (EDT)

Arcee is shown in animation teasers

Arcee is seen in the sample of the cartoon. Please add her in! notirishman (talk) 15:08, 19 July 2018 (EDT)

For those looking for verification, she can be seen behind Megatron's left leg during the panning shot after he shouts "I fight for you!" (Also, now that we're getting closer to launch and more information is surfacing, it might be wise to think about opening the page back up so we can properly keep up with official reveals.) -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 15:33, 19 July 2018 (EDT)

Chromia in title sequence

Chromia can be seen in the title sequence in one of the hexagons flying by. Can an admin add her with a link or just lower the protection so registered users can edit it? notirishman (talk) 15:50, 20 July 2018 (EDT)

Continuity family

I don't get why everyone is so hung up on the "it's not a sequel to anything so it is its own thing". Why can't it simply be a new universe within a previously existing continuity family? Specifically, a G1 universe. Think about it, the evergreen designs are based largely on the G1 characters and have been used in G1 media, so why not just say that evergreen designs are indicative of G1-ness? --Khajidha (talk) 13:28, 27 August 2018 (EDT)

I think it would add to the confusion. People could think the series is a direct sequel to the original G1 cartoon. New cartoons (at least the main ones that air in television) have always created new universes with them, except when it's a very explicit sequel to a previous cartoon. I believe the Wiki is just doing what it always does to keep things consistent, until an official confirmation is finally given.Fritz (talk) 18:14, 27 August 2018 (EDT)
It would be an organizational nightmare for this wiki to treat Cyberverse as part of G1. And really, it's more like a General Reboot of Aligned, itself a General Reboot of Transformers-in-General. It's the Evergreen era and all the lines are blurred now, to even greater degree than they already were. But treating Cyberverse as it's own discreet thing is what makes the most sense. --KilMichaelMcC (talk) 18:19, 27 August 2018 (EDT)
Perhaps as the show (and toyline, for that matter) go on, it will be easier to assign it to a continuity family -- or call it its own family. For right now, we don't really have much information. Yeah, there are ties the G1 family, but there usually are in any given series. There's also ties to Aligned and Movieverse. Let it play out, let more episodes air and more information get put out about it, and then we can figure out how to categorize it. For now, it's just a new thing. When it's not so new, we'll know how to treat it. Waverod ✈️ (talk) 18:20, 19 September 2018 (EDT)
Signs point heavily to "is its own, distinct thing". - TBR (talk) 19:55, 5 October 2018 (EDT)

Seekers and Soldiers?

Should the war fodder Seekers and the Autobot soldiers be listed like the Vehicons in Prime? Same with the Shockwave drones like the Miners from Prime?Check the cast section to see what I mean. And it's just me, but I dont quite understand why Windblade and Blurr shouldn't be separate from the rest? Thanks. --notirishman (talk) 13:39, 6 October 2018 (EDT)

"Other cast lists are overcomplicated" isn't justification for making this cast list the same and splitting hairs about Camiens is silly. The point of those lists is to give you the important characters at a glance, not to note minutiae like generics or a prone Seeker who only shows up in a single scene. Saix (talk) 13:51, 6 October 2018 (EDT)
Understood. Do these other lists need a cleanup then?--notirishman (talk) 18:39, 6 October 2018 (EDT)
The problem is that those series have more material so they're harder to untangle. I think the RID cast list is a goddamn mess full of transient scenarios, but I don't feel confident being the arbiter of who makes the list or not. Saix (talk) 18:46, 6 October 2018 (EDT)
The RID one, at least, has the standard of "characters who appeared at least twice". That seems reasonable for absolute inclusion. Subgroups probably should not be mentioned at all in the cast list... - TBR (talk) 22:09, 6 October 2018 (EDT)
Why aren't we sectioning subgroups? And why did you cover the upcoming characters when we know these characters in the show? --notirishman (talk) 01:26, 7 October 2018 (EDT)
1. Because it leads to utter madness as illustrated with the former horrific state of the RID 2015 cast list. 2. Because the cast list is supposed to be for recurring characters only, and they have not recurred. - TBR (talk) 06:23, 7 October 2018 (EDT)
Yeah, but remember, Cyberverse doesnt have a huge cast to pull out the "recurring characters" and "Main Cast" yet. At least, in my opinion. --notirishman (talk) 10:50, 7 October 2018 (EDT)
That's a fair point - at this point, including "expected recurring" is a good idea. - TBR (talk) 15:26, 7 October 2018 (EDT)

Okay, why is it order of appearance? It doesn't add much to the table. --notirishman (talk) 13:33, 8 October 2018 (EDT)

Because otherwise it becomes subjective. - TBR (talk) 15:40, 8 October 2018 (EDT)
We don't order by appearance on any other cartoon series page, and people seem to cope? --abates (talk) 16:26, 8 October 2018 (EDT)
I did it on the RID2015 page, and it was a significant improvement. Otherwise you get the horrible mess that that page's cast list used to be. - TBR (talk) 17:51, 8 October 2018 (EDT)
Oh, Blurr died, huh? Oh. No wonder you didn't want him on the list. --notirishman (talk) 18:06, 8 October 2018 (EDT)
But I suggest taking the "oder of appearance" idea to the Community Portal and using RiD15 as an example to show it. --notirishman (talk) 18:18, 8 October 2018 (EDT)
If I get the chance, after this hurricane madness blows (ha) over, I might. In the meantime...yeah I was trying to avoid outright saying it, since it'll be two weeks before that ep airs for anyone other than the lucky Canucks, but yeah, he ded, he *so* ded. - TBR (talk) 19:40, 8 October 2018 (EDT)

Seekers group

Shouldn't we at least section off Slipstream and the gang are all Seekers? Also, now that I know there is only one Additional voices actor who is a male, is it fair to say Dirge and Ramjet were voiced by Perlmutter (but then again, depending on the voice actress, masculine-esque grunts are possible)? --notirishman (talk) 18:54, 20 October 2018 (EDT)

If all a character does is grunt, I don't think we even need to have a voice actor credit.--Khajidha (talk) 19:01, 20 October 2018 (EDT)
And their all being Seekers is something more suited to their character pages. --Khajidha (talk) 19:03, 20 October 2018 (EDT)
Okay, understood. My thought process was just that it would be easier to look under "Seekers" when seeing the characters on the show. But I understand! --notirishman (talk) 19:06, 20 October 2018 (EDT)

New characters

Are Lockdown, Lugnut and Cheetor really going to be in Cyberverse? I saw an edit to the page that showed these characters, but hidden, only able to be seen in editing mode.--CyclonustheWarrior (talk) 14:20, 14 February 2019 (EST)

Season 2 trailer. We don't know for sure if they're recurring or not yet (though they probably will be), but I didn't want an editing war to start over people constantly trying to add them and getting reverted, hence why they're hidden for now. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 14:23, 14 February 2019 (EST)
Got it.--CyclonustheWarrior (talk) 10:04, 15 February 2019 (EST)

Kickback and Bombshell

Just out of curiosity, has anyone asked the creators which Insecticon is Kickback and which is Bombshell? I'm having trouble telling the two apart. --NexusShard17 (talk) 10:44, 15 April 2020 (EDT)

Fandom Cyberverse Wiki

Do we mind that someone’s created a separate Cyberverse Wiki on Fandom and is blatantly copy and pasting some of our articles? Ravagekitteh (talk) 17:46, 30 April 2020 (EDT)

LOL, it's barely even a wiki. All they've done is copy a bunch of opening paragraphs without any proper content. If they can't even be bothered to copy all of it, it's probably not even worth our time. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 18:01, 30 April 2020 (EDT)
That sounds par for the course with Fandom. If you want to, please feel free to notify them that under the terms of the CC-BY-SA license they should be properly attributing their content and providing a link back to us. (Fandom have even previously made a blog post on this matter that you can point them to) --abates (talk) 18:11, 30 April 2020 (EDT)

US Airdates

If anyone wants, someone's gotta add the remaining airdates of the states here. [1]

Ok yeah it's seems weird and all to share from TheFutoncritic, but considering the UK finished it's airing, might as well here domestically. Energizer (talk) 03:38, 1 June 2020 (EDT)

Thanks for that; I had lost track. I've gone in and dated all the episodes. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 04:54, 1 June 2020 (EDT)
No problem. Energizer (talk) 00:51, 2 June 2020 (EDT)

Reception section for main page?

I was thinking that we should add a reception page for this show. I know it's only been around 3 years since the finale aired but the Netflix show received one in a shorter time frame. Then again it's honestly a bit hard to judge the general reception the show received. Maybe it's just me but I never saw much fanfare for the show. I suppose a possible section would talk about how people didn't quite like it during s1 but from s2 onwards the fandom viewed it more positively as it began to experiment with new ideas more or smth.Thetransformersmorethanmeetstheeye (talk) 11 28, 26 October 2024 (EST)

Not to sound glib but I'm not sure Cyberverse had much of a "reception". We don't necessarily need to include such a section for every single series, only things that left a major and lasting impression for good or ill. --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 14:53, 26 October 2024 (EDT)
Much too soon anyway. --M Sipher (talk) 16:17, 26 October 2024 (EDT)
