Hi im having issues with authorization, the game keeps prompting me to authorize even though ive clicked the dialog and itchio has confirmed for me?
Mac error
“CottageVille” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin. even when I do the terminal commands it says permission denied din the terminal ?( <- that issue fixed) New issue- When I have to authenticate my account it says something like download key not found (Side note- I have brought this on steam it didn't work now im using this)

Hello, when i opened the game, an authorization screen showed up. Although clicking on it redirects me to a website, the game doesn't open even after I grant authorization. I can't play the game.
Hi there, I’m having an issue with the game’s authorization process. Every time I complete the authorization in my browser, it tells me I can safely close the tab. However, when I return to the game, it still asks me to verify as if I haven't done it yet. I’ve already tried restarting the game and rebooting my PC (Windows), but the issue persists. Any ideas on how to fix this?
I have this same issue. When I authorize I can see this in the console of the browser:

the itch authorization doesnt direct me anywhere so i cant even enter the game
nvm i restarted my pc and it works now
I'm on Mac OS, and I used the command in the terminal, but it produced:
xattr: /Users/NAME/Downloads/CottageVille.app: No such xattr: com.apple.quarantine
Let me know if there's something I should be doing!
Replace NAME with the name of your home folder. That should get it to work.
Yes, I just replaced it because I didn't want to share the name of that folder, which is my name. It's correct.

Hello. When I tried to interact with the acrcade machine, I got a crash with no license error. What license? Steam also came to the front after the crash. Seems fishy asf. Care to explain what's going on?
We mistakenly shipped the latest update on itch.io with the inclusion of Steam binaries, as our game is also available on Steam:

Until then, if you suspect any fishy activities, feel free to not run the game at all. Run it through an anti-virus software, let us know if there are real anomalies and not just pure assumptions.
We are just a group of indie developers trying our best to make a polished experience, and accounting for a stable release on every platform is something we try our best with a limited amount of resources.
Can we play with a controller?
Unfortunately, no. This game is designed for desktop platforms.
I'm getting no license error and crash when I interact with piano in cowork spaces.
