My dad and my nibling died a yearish ago, and I miss them a lot. I'm wondering what kind of organism they would get. My dad loved trees and my nibling hated corn. (They were studying environmental science or something like that, and they did an internship researching corn, and at the end they hated corn so much that they got a badass corn demon tattoo.) Important update, I planted vervain in my garden last year (2024 after that post) and now it’s blooming for the first time. Since I have a garden of native flowers, I deviated a little and chose the closest relative that’s native to this region, Verbena hasata, blue vervain. I thought the plant had died until I saw these flowers peeking up a couple days ago! Thank you @hellsitegenetics !
